## What is Camp'n'Connect?

COMMUNITY FEED
Post to the community feed to connect or meet up with campers in your area, organize activities together, offer a camping spot on your property, seek help or find a travel buddy. Of course, you can also comment and like posts from other campers. 
With Premium you can now post to other locations to connect with campers who are already at your destination, for example! You can also publish posts that travel with you and are always visible wherever you are. 

RADAR (SEARCH)
Find out which camping and vanlife enthusiasts are currently in your area and are also interested in good company when travelling, a relaxed get-together around the campfire or engaging in activities together. It has never been easier to find like-minded people to meet up for hiking, surfing or drinking coffee!
Use various filters to refine the search results. For example, looking for someone to hike with? Check "Hiking" in the interests filter.
With Premium, you can also search for campers in other locations, such as finding like-minded people at your next destination and planning meetups in advance. You can also search for profile names to find friends and acquaintances, no matter where they are.

EVENTS
Meetings, fairs and workshops - in the app you find almost all events related to camping and van life. You can indicate your interest or participation in any event and directly connect with other participating or interested campers.

PROFILE
The more comprehensive your profile, the clearer the image you convey to other campers, and the greater the chance of finding people on your wavelength. Fill out your profile in a friendly, honest and open manner.

CHAT
The way to start a private conversation with other campers. Send a message to campers you like to get in touch with. This way, you can exchange ideas, get to know each other, and even share your locations if you wish.

YOUR LOCATION...
...is not visible to other users by default! You alone decide whether your approximate location should be shown on a group's member map or who you want to send your exact location via message. And if you don't feel like meeting new people, you can simply hide your profile.

Die App ist simple zu bedienen und wird stetig weiter entwickelt und angepasst. Großes Lob dafür. Wir waren auch schon auf diversen Treffen, an die wir uns gerne mit sehr positiven Eindrücken und Erlebnissen zurück erinnern.

Weiter so ans Team! Daraus kann man echt was tolles machen in Zukunft.
Cool wäre eine Funktion in der man weltweit auf der Map nach Mitgliedern suchen kann. Das wäre Mega zum connecten :) wenn das kommt vergebe ich 5 Sterne :)

Durchdacht aufgebaute App, die einfach erschließbar ist und mit ca. 70 MB auch kein Speicherfresser ist - prima 👌. Wollten die schön längst installieren, Fehmarn hat nun den Ausschlag gegeben 😉.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von Camp’n’Connect – weil die App nicht nur technisch durchdacht ist, sondern auch mit ganz viel Herz für die Camper-Community entwickelt wurde. Kein Algorithmus, keine Datensammelei, keine nervige Werbung – einfach ehrlicher, direkter Austausch unter Menschen, die das Unterwegssein genauso lieben wie ich.

Jetzt gibt’s auch endlich richtige Community-Räume innerhalb der App! Wir sind direkt mit zwei Gruppen gestartet – und ich bin stolz, Teil davon zu sein:

Camperella – für Frauen, die sich untereinander austauschen möchten.

Nugget Nation – für alle, die mit dem Ford Nugget unterwegs sind und sich vernetzen, Tipps geben oder Treffen planen wollen.

Das macht für mich die App nochmal persönlicher und lebendiger.

Leider komm ich nicht über den Anmeldeprozess hinaus. Sobald ich meinen Standort freigeben möchte kommt die Mitteilung „Upsi“ und die App lässt sich nicht mehr bedienen. Auch ein Löschen und Neuladen führt nicht zum Erfolg. Schade

Eine Karte mit Standorten wäre noch praktisch. Am besten mit Par*4Nigh* zusammenschließen. So könnte man sich auch über die Standorte von Stellplätzen connecten. 

Nachrichten gehen manchmal nicht durch. Hängt teilweise. 

Ansonsten praktisch.
