Does this work when cell towers can’t reach area? Most areas I go cell towers don’t reach and stop miles before camp sight

Campsighter is designed specifically for outdoor environments where cell service may be limited or unavailable. Once you’ve opened the app and loaded your markers or map view, most features like compass tracking, saved markers, emergency info, and offline location tracking will continue to work without a cell signal, because we rely on your device’s GPS, which doesn’t require towers.

However, keep in mind that while GPS functions without internet, the map terrain images themselves may not load properly without a data connection unless they were previously cached. We’re working on expanding offline map support to make Campsighter even more reliable in remote areas.

This app is a pretty cool concept, it's not world changing but it actually helps me to keep track of my stuff when I'm out there. I wish it had an option to add pets on the campsighters section, since it allows you to share that info with others. Overall, pretty neat app!
