Everything I complained about seemed to been solved and I’m very pleased that I came back to install it again. The only issue remains is the intervalometer not working smoothly- one would need to hit the retry button to continue a session. Thanks, author! ### 3/5 — bug? *2025-11-25, version 1.13.0* im a frequent star photographer. last night i went to an area with little to no light pollution, and it took a while to get there. there was no service, of course, and when i went to start taking photos using the intervalometer function (that i have paid for), it said i didnt have it purchased. i didnt have cell at the time so i could not fix it. also instead of intervalometer, it was saying timelapse? it was very frustrating because i usually take upwards of 300 photos to stack, but had to do it manually and didnt have that amount of patience. im just confused on why this happened. otherwise ver good app and works well most of the time. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t do the one thing it’s supposed to very well *2025-08-19, version 1.13.0* I wish the photos I select on my Sony Alpha a6600 would make it to my iPhone, but it seems to only have a 60% success rate on the transfer ### 4/5 — Still some unreliability *2025-05-21, version 1.13.0* Great functionality. Then last week I needed to do some product shots so I set everything up and connected Camrote via bluetooth, took a bunch of pictures and all seemed fine until I noticed the images were all JPEG instead of RAW which is what the camera is always set on. Thinking that maybe RAW was only available with the pro version, I paid the $10 and took a bunch more shots. Both camera and app were definitely set to "RAW" but again, all the photos are JPEGs. I submitted a complaint via the support screen and it's been probably a week and I have not heard anything back. This app is useless to me if I can't take photos in RAW. Recently when I was test running my solar eclipse photography setup I have found that the intervalometer feature was gone so I paid again in panic (should have tried restoring purchase first), only to find that feature unavailable again during photographing the solar eclipse, probably because my appstore was logged in to another appleid at that moment. I understand that it is necessary to confirm user’s purchase status but that has been an utter disaster. ### 1/5 — So buggy it’s unusable *2024-04-08, version 1.11.1* I wanted to like this app, on paper it has all the features I want. But the bugs make it completely unusable. First off, text fields are only displayed as some kind of field names, as in: They are not displayed, only the variable name used in the code are shown. Display language is German, I suppose in English there is no problem - unfortunately I cannot set the language to English, so I wouldn’t know. With all the missing text fields, the bigger problem is that the functionality is buggy too, i.e. not working at all. I bought the full package to be able to use the intervalometer. Regardless of the values I put in in the interval settings, if I choose single shot or bulb mode or any other shooting mode, the camera takes exactly one picture. The progress bar around the play button then stops, nothing happens anymore. Only way out is to kill the app. What is this?
