## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8 — 2026-10-27

Your GIFs and HOOK videos now stay in your gallery. A minimal welcome tour. Clearer headings in the PC 95 theme. Performance Optimizaions and better overall experience.

### 1.7 — 2026-10-23

• PC 95 is the look you open with. Teal desktop, silver keys, navy for the one important button. Settings has five other retro color sets, including the old beige desk. The pink is gone.
• Button sounds. Taps click, switches click, and the sliders click once for each notch you cross. Settings can turn the sounds off.
• The live camera shows the grain. A dithering look, such as Handheld or Soft, no longer looks flat while you aim. The saved picture is still made the same way. Choosing no pixel size still shows the plain camera.
• Save stands out. On the result screen, Save is the dark blue button. Print, Email, GIF, Hook, and Share stay gray.
• The rest of the screens match. Gallery, Settings, the paywall, and the result screen use the same hard edges and raised keys.

### 1.6 — 2026-10-19

Halloween cutouts rebuilt: bigger face holes, rotate your photo, and a new lock that keeps your face fitted as you switch costumes. New Rising Grave HOOK, full-frame reveal videos, truer colours with no stray outlines, and a tidier Edit Look.

### 1.5 — 2026-10-15

Halloween cutouts. Stick your face in a witch, vampire, mummy, or reaper and it stays lined up when you switch costumes.

New frames for the season, plus hook videos that play the full pixel reveal — scan lines, slime, a vampire bite, and more. Pick a look, save the 3-second clip, and post it.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-28

The camera can now show your style and pixel size live, before you
press the shutter.

FOUR WAYS TO REVEAL
The HOOK video now comes in four motions — Scan, Blocks, Iris and
Curtain. Pick one, or let the app surprise you.

FULL QUALITY FOR EVERYONE
Every export now renders at full detail, on every plan.

ALSO IN THIS UPDATE
• "What's in here" in Settings replays the feature tour
• Clearer names for background options
• Faster gallery, faster GIF and email exports

FIXES
• Photos picked from your library no longer come out rotated
• Zooming and repositioning now matches exactly what you export
• Framed exports and GIFs keep the framing you set
