I love its simply but user friendly designed UI and the functions such as planner, navigator, personal guide, experience keeper etc!! Excellent features! ### 5/5 — Just Give It To Me Straight *2016-10-11, version 3.0.0* Finally, a trip planner I can actually use! The tutorial was well done, the narrator's voice clear and pleasant. Directions were presented by easy-to-follow examples. Seeing others' itineraries helpfully suggested other places/things to do that I might not have originally considered. Try this app even for a weekend trip! ### 5/5 — Astute Information *2016-10-10, version 3.0.0* Having grown up and lived in New York, the conciseness, the accuracy and the ability this app gives you to move efficiently and quickly through the maze of East West traffic and locations of the eateries and sightseeing, this is about the best that I have seen after doing much traveling throughout the United States as well as in other countries. From theater to restaurants to transportation, it's at the grasp of anyone who needs help in maneuvering through the streets of New York quickly and efficiently by walking as well as driving. This app has all three. LOVE the new 3-D icon for searching for nearby places. Told a neighbor about it, they speak French and still learning English...even they can use it in French! Bravo!!!! ### 5/5 — Great Update! *2016-10-08, version 3.0.0* So many developers are adding the 3D Touch feature to their apps so the user can immediately use the app's key features right from the home screen. But the features are never actually helpful! They might be "share," or "check in;" things the app would benefit from, but the user would not. Camtinerary's 3D Touch features are things that are truly helpful to the user. Searching for nearby restaurants from so many sources with just the press of a finger is a feature I have fully taken advantage of. I love bragging to my friends that my travel app is better than theirs! 😊 ### 5/5 — Alpha female (finally) *2016-10-07, version 3.0.0* My girlfriends and I always plan little trips together. I'm usually not the planner in the group. Im the one that asks, ok, so where are we going next? But I decided to take a little initiative, found this app, and realized it's not so hard after all! Being able to use Siri to just say what I want makes it sooo easy. And if I have to like, actually has my finger, the 3D touch thing seems like it works pretty well. Why don't more people talk about Camtinerary? Apple like needs to do a commercial or something for it. When I was in Berlin for a night out, I looked up the best spots on Yelp within Camtinerary and mapped out the whole night from having great Bratwurst at the Biergarten to getting blitzed on Jaeger and Shnapps and still made it back to the hotel in time to meet an uber-hot fraulein. The best part was showing her in German text where I wanted to take her for breakfast. Ich bein ein Berliner! ### 4/5 — Great App Idea! *2016-09-13, version 2.0.50* This is a great idea for an app! I haven't used it on a trip yet, but I could see it really helping me out in a city that I don't know very well. I think it could use a little more polish and then it will be a 5 star app! For instance, when exploring the map that contains all of the things (restaurants, entertainment, shopping), I wish I could tap on one of those icons to see what it is instead of having to go into one of the categories to see the names of the venues. I'm excited to see where this app goes :) ### 5/5 — Michelin Stars! *2016-09-04, version 2.0.49* Finally I found an app in my ripe old age that great institutions of the past AND the present like Michelin stars! I see that today, Michelin has broadened its reach to be relevant in the digital age. Another thing I love about this app is that I don't have to jump between apps to find out ALL, or at least most of the restaurants when I touch down at Houari airport that are there instead of just the short list from TripAdvisor. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2017-01-15, version 4.0.6* Running on a iPad Mini iOS 10.2. Thought this would be a good alternative to my Roadtrippers app for iPad but although the interface is nice, the app keeps crashing. You can do a few things like add destinations but when you try to do more like SHARE or send the itinerary somewhere it crashes. Text or email options 100% consistently crash the app. Useless to travel with. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2017-01-04, version 4.0.6* Needs a lot of fixes. I will leave it on desktop for awhile to see if they fix the problems. ### 1/5 — Probably worst app I've ever had *2017-01-03, version 4.0.5* Crashes every 5 seconds, impossible to understand, even with the tutorial it's impossible because it crashes any time you click something. Received a response "sorry chief, increase your zoom level". I zoomed the map. No luck. What is zoom level? I looked for a HELP function, could not find one. I watch the tutorial on my iPhone but that didn't help. Love the idea and description of this app make it sound great. Can't do anything on it ### 2/5 — Jimspeedy1dino *2017-02-06, version 4.2* All of the options on the menus of the categories are commercial (e.g. businesses), including activities. It is therefore difficult to even create a day's itenary that is not a constant outlay of cash. If you don't know of any things to see or other things to do, that are not owned as a business, you won't find (or easily include them) with this app. And if you don't have an iPhone 6 or newer, any paid-for upgrade is a total rip off; there really is nothing practically useful about this app that you can't do with Yelp, Four Square, Google maps, et.el for free. In short, the app is like a venue for businesses to advertise. Alas, the motel we booked evidently is one among many that does not pay to "advertise" and was not be found on this app's search engine even if you typed in its name or address. ### 2/5 — Deleted *2016-10-12, version 3.0.1* Sounded interesting but... Tutorial was glitchy and search was slow. At that speed it would be too tedious to use. Also that icon looks like clip art. Fake reviews? ### 2/5 — Nice Idea but... *2016-10-11, version 3.0.0* I tested the app with areas I know, to see if good restaurants would appear. Known eateries with good scores did NOT show on the app's map, therefore I cannot recommend nor trust the results it provides. ### 3/5 — No Apple TV? *2016-09-05, version 2.0.49* You got every Apple device covered, but by far, Apple TV has got to be the best platform for an app like this. If I'm investing the time to craft the perfect trip, I want to be able to show it off. I'm giving you 3 stars so you have something to shoot for. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great App *2017-07-12, version 4.4.7* I just started using this App for a trip I am planning for a week in Phoenix AZ. There were a couple suggestions I sent to the developer and the service he gave was amazing. The main one was being able to add an address that was not listed under a category. For example, the address of someone you wanted to meet or a relative. The response was quick and the App updated within in a day of me sending in the suggestions. I suggest you watch the tutorial as it gives you some special tips on using the App. A big THANK YOU to the developer for the great service. ### 5/5 — Fantastic travel app! 👏 *2017-02-09, version 4.3* A robust travel planner, navigator, personal guide, personal assistant, experience keeper, all in your pocket!
