Unfortunately just got a wansview w2 camera and having problems making it work with this app. Works fine with other apps. I can pan, tilt, etc. with ease. One of the best features is that everything works in landscape mode, if you choose to view it that way. Some other apps only work in portrait mode. This feature is especially valuable when viewing on iPad. Occasionally, it will drop the connection with the camera, but I click on "retry" and it reconnects. I've been using this app for years. It's proven reliable. ### 5/5 — Absolutely brilliant! *2015-12-23, version 2.0* The best IP camera app out of all the ones I've tried so far! You can turn the motion detection on and off as you want. A feature I hope will be added is the ability to turn the sound detection on and off too? My cameras have both features which I use. For me that would be useful. The free version is probably good enough for most peoples needs but paying the small amount gives you audio too and it works very well. Worth the money and it supports the future development of the app. Really nice, simple, clear layout. Anyone having configuration problems should go to the app's website and read the instructions. Have connected several cameras in different locations (local network or remote) of different brands and all is working as promised. Have also purchased the Audio Support and the system is working faultlessly. ### 4/5 — Decent Foscam Interface *2015-11-14, version 1.9.31* I've used this app on my iPad mini and iPhone devices for several years now and have been pretty pleased with it. It is a huge step above watching the cameras over a web page. The picture is clear and access to frequently used camera controls is intuitive. If you go to the website and click on ‘Getting Help’ it tells you to use ‘Report Problem’ in the app. It’s a big run-around. Dev has no respect for his customers. ### 1/5 — App crashes constantly on iPad mini 2/9.3.1 *2016-12-27, version 2.1.1* I am using this app to watch baby, but app crashes all the time. ### 1/5 — Purchases do not work *2016-12-05, version 2.1* After my phone was wiped I selected to restore past purchases. This is for the listen and speak feature. It states the feature was restored. Now when I select this option the app crashes. I've closed the process, rebooted, and reinstalled. The vague support notice says they will get to it emails at some point. Working on a Foscam and a Wanscam on the same network. I can view remote while on LTE, or locally via Wifi. When there is a problem, the developer responds personally and fast with all your info thanks to an in-app submission form.
