It's Undertale inspiration is very apparent, with the alter sections paralleling the True Lab, Omega Flowey, and Asriel Dremmur, but it distinct itself strongly from it. It's simple while providing a pleasent challenge. The characters are well written and the ending ending makes me tear up every time I see it even years later. The onky criticism I really have is the culture shock of its 2017 setting, but it is a game all about the changing year, so it's fair. It also doesn't have any origional music, only using free lisensing music, which is fair but disappointing and a bit jarring. I like how it’s similar to undertale yet it’s still really different with a different storyline and characters.
