The theoretical practice tests in the app turned out to be not very relevant to the actual Level 1 exam. Most of the theory questions in the app focus mainly on Ohm’s Law and basic power formulas, while the real Level 1 exam included a large amount of electronics: transistors, diodes, thyristors, various DC circuits, different physical laws, as well as magnetism. The theory questions on the exam were not extremely difficult, but I did not expect them to appear at all. Because of that, I was not properly prepared for this part of the exam. The only part of the app that I found truly useful was the Canadian Electrical Code preparation, which was helpful.
