## What is Canal Motorboats?

The official Canal Motorboats app for your own trip through the Amsterdam canals. Pick your pier and sail with spoken stories at every highlight.

ROUTES
Every pier has a two hour and a three hour route: Zandhoek, Westerdoksdijk, Nassaukade, Westerpark, Borneosteiger and Oost. Each route has numbered stops with a photo and a story, so you can see beforehand what you will pass.

ON THE WATER
The map turns with your heading and keeps your boat in view. The story for a stop starts by itself as you come up to it, also with the screen off. You get turn hints at the junctions, a warning for closures on your route, and a nudge when it is time to head back.

WATERWAY INFO
Live closures from the European waterway information system, one-way stretches, no-sail zones, busy crossings, public toilets and the boarding points.

QUIZ AND FUN FACTS
Ten questions about the canals, and the background stories of the bridges, houses and places along the water to browse at your own pace.

Dutch and English.

The app is meant for Canal Motorboats renters. Before you leave you enter your boat number and name, so Canal Motorboats knows which boat is where. Your location is only used during the trip. The privacy policy says exactly what is stored and for how long.
