Scan any room in 30 seconds
Canary recognizes household items — cookware, cleaning products, personal care, plastics, plants — and gives you a plain-English read on each one. No alarm language. Just what's there and what it means.

Home Systems
Set reminders for the things homes actually need: HVAC filters, water filters, appliance warranties, smoke detector batteries. Canary sends a quiet reminder when something's due — early enough to do something about it.

Built for your household
Add the people and pets in your home. If you have a toddler, birds, a dog, or you're expecting, Canary surfaces what's most relevant to your specific household.

Builds over time
Every room you scan adds to a picture of your home. What's changed, what needs attention, what you've improved.

We don't run ads. We don't sell your home data. No brand pays us to recommend their products — some shopping links are affiliate links, and if you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Photos are analyzed in the moment — we don't keep your full images. A small thumbnail stays in your scan history so you can look back, and you can delete it anytime. For informational purposes only.

Two big things in this update:

Appliance scanning is now free. Point your camera at a filter, appliance, or smoke detector and Canary tracks when it's due — without using your room scans. Setting up your home shouldn't cost you anything.

Canary now knows clean vs. replace. A washable range-hood filter says "clean," a disposable one says "replace" — so you're never told to throw out a part you can rinse.

Plus a calmer, quieter look — softer colors and plainer language throughout — and smoother scrolling and keyboards across the app.

We've removed the score grades and the alarm coloring. Same scanning, same Home Systems, same household profiles — calmer voice throughout. More changes coming this summer.
