It is a partner game. When I have 4 different melds down and all have 6 cards I add one card to complete a canasta. My computer partner tho throws every wild card they have onto that completed canasta instead of completing a canasta that can take another wild card. They do it over and over again. Having a programmer who actually plays canasta might help this because it certainly feels like someone is cheating. ### 3/5 — Some rules are wrong *2026-04-28* Black threes are not wild and do not freeze the discard pile, they just cannot be picked up by the next player. The game should have a rotation start so Thea Tula human player gets a chance to draw beside last each time And make the computer players who pick up the pile playingwiththehuman lay down as many melds as there are stead of holding them . I mean it’s okay to lose a round or even the whole game but not for consecutive games in a row. You need to have better female partners and have 4 different players names . Mrs LJ Kennedy Age 75 ### 3/5 — Update & get rid of the flaws *2023-06-07* Why is it at times my partner doesn’t open or play yet discards wildcards & cards that I’ve played?! Today I noticed that the opponents had 850 points played yet were given 1300 points when the game was over. Many times when I show I need 120 to lay down - my partner will lay down 90 or even 30 points. There are many many flaws in this game. ### 3/5 — Rigged *2023-01-01, version 1.0* I really enjoy this app.. however after playing it for a few months it’s rigged. Sometimes your “partner “ never plays yet discards cards that can be played on the board. Also, when you have, say 3 pairs in your hand & you have to decide which pair to discard, the “person” playing to your right will then discard the same one of the pair you broke up. When your “partner “ goes out with a wild card it never goes to make a canasta. Fix these things & it would be 5 stars. ### 3/5 — It’s canasta *2022-12-11* I think the creator of this game forgot the goal was to get canastas, not have the bots hold their cards to go out! ### 3/5 — IMPROVEMENTS PLEASE *2022-10-17* This game needs improvement because far too often the partner can’t open or worse, won’t open. It cannot be that only one person always opens. Not being able to see your partner’s cards after a game is a flaw in my eyes because we never see how they played with the cards they were dealt. This causes frustration on the better player. Another flaw is that if one accidentally played a joker with some cards while laying cards down there is no way to retrieve the joker in the same play. This is true if one meant to play the joker on another stack. There is no way to correctvthe move within one’s tun. Hope you can address some of these points. ### 3/5 — Flawed *2022-01-30* Fundamentally flawed. The app and game has not been thoroughly developed. ### 2/5 — Buggy canasta game *2021-12-20* Some inconsistencies within the game such as when trying to throw away a card after a turn receiving a message that the card does not match the pick up pile card. To continue, you have to quit the game and start over. Also, many times my partner will never lay down a card even when we have already laid down a set of A’s, he will discard an A. Once you learn the secrets to win, it is pretty easy to beat the opponent. ### 2/5 — Your partner plays against you *2021-07-11* You have almost every card on the table and your partner still sits with a full hand. How is it possible that they can’t even put one card down, they get rid of wild card by throwing them out. You will have 6 of a card and 3 of another card and your partner will put down on the three and discard the one that would have given you a canasta. Further your opponents almost always have the same cards and lost of wild cards when you need 120 to put down. Es gibt deutlich besser Apps, die auch kostenlos sind. ### 1/5 — I would give zero stars but it’s not an option *2023-01-31* I downloaded this game, played two hands, and then deleted it. When you have melded, and you have cards on the table, as long as the deck is not frozen you can pick up the deck. This game would not allow it. Frozen or not, it only allowed you to pick up the deck with a pair. This is NOT how one plays Canasta. ### 1/5 — Unbelievable AI *2022-05-21* Why is doesn't my AI partner play their hands? Most of the games are spent just picking up and discarding. I'm playing by myself while they sit with eleven cards, even throwing away 2s without having played anything? And why are they playing wildcards to make their own melds when there are two sets already out waiting for a canasta? Why do they pick up the entire discard pile with more than 20 cards in their hand but they can only play one small meld, but when I pick up the discard pile, I can put down hundreds in points? All the AI partner does is sabotage. This app is just for advertising, it doesn't function well. Deleting. ### 1/5 — Nicht zu empfehlen *2022-04-10* Die verwendeten Regeln sind nicht beschrieben. Die Übersetzung ist totaler Schrott. Es scheint so als ob die härtesten Regel überhaupt verwendet werden. Also Stoß nur nehmen, wenn man zwei gleiche auf der Hand hat. Jeder Spieler muss die ausspielt Grenze erreichen etc. Teilweise wurde, wenn der Stoß genommen wurde, nur die oberste Karte genommen der Rest blieb liegen, das scheint mir ein Fehler zu sein. ### 1/5 — 007 *2020-10-31* Game flickers , stalls and freezes up right in the middle of the game causing you to lose your game completely and having to start all over, they’ll pick up the entire deck throws out a few cards holds the rest of course you lost the game, and they’ll throw away cards that could be used while holding all 11 cards no matter that mostly all the cards are on the table meaning that you have to have the remaining cards needed . You might as well be playing by yourself ! One star for effort. My game has been completely compromised. Weird graphic motions made it confusing at first, but eventually figured out whose playfield is being played to, where the red 3 cards are coming from, etc. I wish there was an ad-free option but there is not. No issues as reported by others, but I’m on a newer iPad and latest iOS. The partner should not refuse to put cards down a few at a time- especially when both opponents have cards on the table. I don’t need to hear the sound of the the clapping and cheering when I play. I would also like to be able to pay for no ads. Had 4 3s and a 7 in my hand and a canasta. Tried laying the four 3s then discard 7. Tried laying the 7 down with a meld of 7s i had, so I only had the four 3s in hand, still wouldnt let me lay them out to go out. Also they don’t count red 3s right.
