### 1/5 — Not working

*2025-11-04*

Keeps telling me it’s read only (even though I paid for premium). Pointless if I can’t monitor symptoms and triggers!

**Developer response:** Hi, we're very sorry for the inconvenience caused by this bug. It has now been resolved and an app update has been released. Please update the app from the App Store and you will be able to submit symptom reports again. Please use the 'Contact us' tab within the 'More' pages to get in touch with us with any other issues.

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2025-10-16*

I have subscribed to this, but every time I click on an item it says I have to ‘upgrade’ to ‘premium’ but when I click that nothing happens. What a bizarre app.

**Developer response:** Very sorry for the trouble you have had with subscription. Please go to ‘More’ and press ‘Restore purchases’ and if that does not work click on the ‘Contact Us’ and we will be able to restore your subscription.

### 1/5 — Long time user, no more

*2022-09-26*

Now that the app is clogged with ads, it is nigh unusable.

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of improvement

*2022-01-10*

There seems to be no relationship between the pollen forecast and the actual daily reading, which doesn’t inspire confidence in the forecast. The graphs of actual measurements (as opposed to forecasts) shown in website/FB posts don’t match the data graphs shown in the app. Are these supposed to be showing the same data? Who knows as there’s no info to aid interpretation. The graph of historical data in the app is a bit of a user interface fail all round. I was happy to pay $20 to support research and I wanted to like this app but it’s very poor.

### 3/5 — Forecasts are handy; can’t get actual counts

*2022-12-22*

The app is useful as a convenient way to get forecasts, but I have to use another app (Air Rater) to get the actual pollen counts. For observations, this app only includes a difficult-to-read rating scale time series.

### 3/5 — App starting to crash when submitting a survey

*2019-03-05*

Hi I like the app and contributing to the research. Lately however when I submit a survey the app crashes and the app considers I haven’t participated. I use a Xr iPhone with current os

### 4/5 — Great source of info

*2022-11-25*

Very handy but takes a bit to load.

### 4/5 — Storms ?

*2020-12-07*

Very itchy back of throat and eyes especially after evening storms

### 4/5 — Essential information for spring

*2015-10-31*

Simple to use and contribute data to the researchers. Could perhaps prompt users to submit their daily rating. Only gripe is that I receive the daily notification at the end of the day; need the forecast first thing in the morning.

### 4/5 — Good App

*2015-10-16*

Nice app. Just a wish list- would be nice if we had a graph too, showing the pollen count that included the historical data for any pollen season, as we proceed through.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Needs help

*2025-09-13*

I just paid one year subscription in July, but now the app asked me to purchase premium subscription?

**Developer response:** Hi there, we're very sorry for the trouble you have experienced with the premium subscription. This was a bug identified after the release of the app and we have provided instructions to fix this within the app. If you haven't already gotten in touch and resolved this issue could you please email us at theteam@airhealthlab.com and we'll have that resolved straight away. Apologies again, the AirHealth team.

### 5/5 — Affirmation helps.

*2023-11-12*

When my eyes are burning and my hay fever symptoms are peaking having a independent and trusted friend to reaffirm these symptoms is reassuring.

I am telling my family and friends that I am suffering from an invisible condition. Having some evidence to support what I already know gives me some peace.

### 5/5 — Helpful App

*2021-01-24*

As an allergy sufferer I have found the Pollen Count very helpful and wear a mask when needed, however I am still suffering from something in the air and Pollen count has shut down. I would like Pollen Count to include Air Quality throughout the year.

### 5/5 — A really useful App.

*2018-09-05*

A very useful App. It's great to be able to see the actual pollen counts and the long range forecast really helps you plan ahead!

### 5/5 — Tells me what I need to know

*2016-11-30*

Tells me what I need to know about the pollen count each day. I like being able to contribute too by answering the survey.
