There are still various bugs that need to be ironed out though. Sometimes when you click on someone’s profile, the screen gets blown up so it’s weirdly zoomed-in in a way that you can’t see the profile information. Definitely more efficient than swiping apps ### 1/5 — Technical issues *2026-06-15* I tried attending two died dating events through the app, and both times I checked in as soon as I was able but had to wait for *over an hour* before I got paired with someone else for a sped date. The speed dating events only last 1.5 hours. The first time, after waiting an hour I got paired with 2 people who apparently didn’t have a stable internet connection to start the video chat, and then got paired with 1 person who I did talk to. A single 6 minute conversation in a 1.5 hour speed dating event: The second time, I checked in as soon as I could, and didn’t get paired with *anyone* for the entire 1.5 hour event. I love the concept, but either not enough people are using the app to make the speed dating events worthwhile, or there are serious technical issues with the app. **Developer response:** Thank you for coming back after a disappointing first event and for being honest about your second experience. You can only send them a message and they’ll get back to you which they never do. They’re happy to take your money but when you have an issue, good luck. Even if you pay for a speed date event, there’s no guarantee all your dates will show up.
