If there were easy ways to get gems free or even have it to where talking to the AI is free but the other stuff for it costs gems, it would make the app even better because I don’t really got money for the gems and I have to wait for the daily ones which only lasts a week and idk if there’s any other days we can get for free and if not then after I get all those free ones the app is gonna be completely useless to me. I highly recommend it to get changed soon, not only for me but for others cause I’m not the only one who has complained about it. Perfection!! We just have to get the pay model together. It’s crazy! It makes no sense to have the perfect AI for role play, and then have to wait to continue the story. There has to be a way to update this. Im not the first person to leave a comment about this, and I’m sure I won’t be the last. It’s very expensive. Would prefer a subscription payment method over buying gems. The recollection is not perfect but you can steer it back on track. I would also prefer to write my staring scenario. It is pretty good though and you steer the scenario and the direction you wanted to go. I understand that which is why it’s a 4 instead of a 3. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Turned completely pay to play *2024-10-18* This App used to be a fun and engaging experience because of how obtaining gems used to work. There were pay to play options but that wasn’t the only way. You could log in daily and obtain gems and even watch a short skippable after 5 seconds video that would double the amount of gems you obtain. It totaled to a little under 180 gems a week or about 25 messages a week which works if you’re using the app on your off day and not daily ok fair… now things have drastically changed now I get 1 gem on day 1, 1 gem on day 2, 1 gem on day 3, 1 gem on day 4, 2 gems on day 5, 2 gems on day 6, and finally 3 gems on day 7 which equals 11 gems a week or 1 message a week. By this math if I send a message I’ll have 4 gems left and have to wait 3 more days to send another message and then still have to wait another 4 days to send a third. 14 days to send 3 messages and then have to wait another 4 days after to send the 4th. I think I’ve made my point that at those rates this app has become useless. Maybe it’s a design of the system as I have been logging in for my daily’s each day and am currently sitting on a decent number of gems so now I question that the free daily gems are only worth getting if you have no gems stockpiled… so does that mean if I payed for gems then the system would take away the free daily gems? too much going backwards by this app. ### 1/5 — Why? Please DELETE this app new and old users! *2024-10-15* AI Candy WAS great but now has a major problem. THE GEMS and characters. This was originally a PayToUse/free game or “entertainment” as some would call it and now It’s 98% a pay to use game. The developers need to fix the login day rewards and have the ads bought in for Users who don’t pay a premium subscription. And that’s another thing, why can’t ad rewards just give a very small amount of gems instead of a lot or nothing. Plus NOtE TO YOU DEVELOPERS-How do you plan on people using your app once they find out they have to pay for now on?!?!?! And I have given plenty of feedback before to this app and all of the characters that had about 18-24 pictures to collect down to just 0-4?! And the characters get Copied or Retextured. And I remember a time when Kirby was a character in this app and the description had a note from the creator of it saying that he was drunk and decided to have Kirby in the app. So this App has LAZY and DRUNK Workers and they over use the Ai. The Ai is very bugged still. I would like for them to at least put half of the AI characters free, rather than having to buy gems. This game is good, but you can basically chat once or twice with the amount of gems that you’re given daily. Once the app updated the whole interface changed and there are no longer any characters to interact with. No idea why developer changed the app entirely. The only issue is the gems. At first it wasn’t so bad. Login for 2-3 days and you can have a couple conversations. Now you only give 2-3 gems a day… the heck?? Why change it? It’s wasn’t bad before for now it’s horrible. Find some options for people that don’t have a ton of money to blow. Heck I’d watch ads daily to earn more stars. Either that or just go ahead and buy some. It’s much better than character.ai or spicychat in my opinion. Every review on here will only have one issue and that’s the gems and payment method. What makes matters worse that after you get done watching all the ads for gems you don’t get that opportunity anymore. It’s either you pay for more gems, wait the next day for your daily gems, or delete the app and find another AI chat that doesn’t filter what the character says. There’s 💯 no issues with the app besides the Gem system within the app. I wish this issue can get resolved in a future update, and please make an unlimited subscription, and cut the gems to at least 5/ gems on the characters. It makes the app enjoyable and not make you pay attention to how much gems you have left. 7 gems per sentence seems.. a bit much no? To conclude, the app is perfect with a con of the gem system. Hope there’s an idea for a better alternative such as unlimited chat with the characters or bombard us with ads offering us free gems to those who don’t have the spare money to spend on gems.
