## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 5/5 — Aesthetically pleasing, simple to use, and powerfully effective!

*2025-03-19*

I love this app! The availability of mode changes and the visual piano keys at the bottom really help the brain make connections that last when learning (at least for me).

### 5/5 — Gorgeous, snappy, eye opening

*2025-03-14*

Time was there were tons of beautifully designed, single purpose iOS apps. Not so much these days, so this is an app out of time.

It’s beautifully conceived and executed, and blasted open my understanding of the circle of fifths, key signatures, and the guitar fretboard. Not bad for FREE.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2024-04-27*

I like the simplicity of the app. It is very useful. I wish it could quiz me on the content so I wouldn’t have to go back and forth between apps. But overall I really like the app. Easy 5 stars. Peace.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2024-03-03, version 1.3.1*

It’s simply perfect and it does the job it needs to

### 5/5 — Very useful.

*2024-01-25, version 1.3.1*

I’ve only just downloaded and had a quick look at the app, but I can see how useful this is going to be. It’s a case of pick a key and scale and the relevant chords , and the notes that make up those chords, are displayed. Play the chords on the touchscreen and see what works. I know virtually nothing about music theory and this app is going to be a big help to me.

### 5/5 — Sometimes they get it right.

*2023-02-14*

That’s all I can say.

### 5/5 — Extremely well executed, don’t be fooled that it’s free.

*2022-10-24, version 1.3.1*

So, I exclusively (almost) use an iPad Pro M1 (bought used) to make music with. Music theory is dipped into as and when. This, is a very compact and easy-to-use representation of the circle of fifths, and plays/operates very intuitively. IE mess around with it, and you will find the tap, tap+hold, and other conventional ways to use touch surface devices, do what you’d expect. You can even spin the wheel and sort of get a randomised resulting key. This is a major part of music theory, but a compact and easy to use app, tremendously well produced. I spun it, tapped it, etc it didn’t break. Well done to the developer, thanks for this.

### 5/5 — Nice Design

*2021-02-08*

Simple, well designed, and informative for basic music chord theory around the circle of fifths.

### 5/5 — Simple and easy.

*2020-11-15, version 1.2.1*

Does what it should with no filler or fluff.

Good job.

### 5/5 — Very nice

Thanks for this it helps so much to understand music.
