The king chomp is way over price for a short period of time. The king chomp should be at least a day or for the duration of the event. Or at least reward free more often. Another thing is during any event or competition, anyone that is not rank #1 can see how much point you need to move up, but if your 1st place you can not see the person behind you then how can you know where you are to compete. This game shoes have a little more automated, it too much time consuming. ### 3/5 — Need update *2026-07-29, version 1.6.14* I have loved this game for a few years now. Unfortunately the further you get in the game, chomplets take multiple weeks to chomp through. Makes the game annoying to play. ### 3/5 — Cute but a cash grab *2026-05-15, version 1.6.11* I like the game, but my god are they trying to wring every last penny from you. The events are fun but completely unbalanced. Currently there’s a 9 day event and I’ve been playing every day religiously, and despite that I’m not even through the second section of the last area. Unless you’re paying hundreds of dollars there’s no way to complete it. Listen, I don’t mind dropping a couple dollars here and there on a game, I paid for the no ads (totally worth it btw) and every now I don’t mind spending some money on an event but like they offer event packs for $10-30 and they give you a quick boost but only for a small area, then you’re back to being completely under leveled for that area. I haven’t spent a single dollar for this event and I’m still so far from getting anywhere near the end but I’m in first place so that just tells me no one is playing or paying. If it wasn’t for this I’d give them 5 stars easily. My other complaint is you can’t see what the boost will be for upgrading a factory. Sometimes you wait hours to have enough money to upgrade one but there are two available and one will upgrade to 2x but the other to 100x so you have to guess which one will be best and if you pick the wrong one then you’re stuck waiting another couple hours to do anything. ### 2/5 — Bought ads removed *2026-05-03, version 1.6.8* I bought the ad removal and it worked great yesterday and today I am stuck watching ads again ### 5/5 — Amazing *2026-05-01, version 1.6.8* My favourite game on my phone ### 5/5 — Ads are annoying, but… *2026-04-06, version 1.6.7* The game has been really fun. I’m housebound and elderly and for some reason I’m enjoying these little Chompers! I play another mining game with wee goblins and it’s okay except for all the ads. The higher up in level you go the harder it is without ads. This us similar but the colorful little chompers has managed to hold my interest, so thanks for that. I can’t afford to spend money in these games so I’ll never place well in the events, but I’m still enjoying this game anyway. Thanks for giving me ways to play by allowing me to watch a few ads in order to double the factory outputs for up to a few hours! It’s so cute and bright. However it feels like it’s still in beta because of the frequent bugs. And I wish there was a way to pick which critters you want to use in a town. 12 is wayy to many and some are just in the way. ### 3/5 — Good game until… *2026-01-29, version 1.6.3* Very fun game and good design layout and overall good game. Until you progress too far, meaning I’m on level 64. I have to start with lvl 1 chomper against candies between lvl 11-24 which I don’t mind grinding through but then there’s a challenge to get to the next checkpoint within 24hrs which is impossible. I have single pieces of candy that take 24hrs if not more, what’s the point of the challenge? And to rub it in your face, there’s a skill card that unlocks at lvl 50 I think that lets you start with a higher lvl chomper. Guess what, I still don’t own any of those cards. At this point I rarely play the main game, I just play the side games that come out every few days, ‘cause it actually makes me feel like I’m accomplishing something. But I doubt that’ll last too long… ### 2/5 — Super cute but no way to progress *2026-01-22, version v1.6.0* Unless I’m doing something wrong, you start from scratch level after level. Play one, you’ve played them all. spend forever upgrading and merging and collecting just to start at zero again at the next level. Why can’t we take our higher level chomps with us? Or keep our candy machines at the level they’ve reached and further levels just allow us to keep growing? Maybe I was doing it wrong but this adorable game is getting deleted. It was super cute though. Good job on the design, graphics, and colors. But then slowly things because impossible or a single candy became full day task unless you were willing to spend money on the game to help you get by. They have tiny little Xs or arrows to close them. The jackpot casino ad just keeps linking you away so you can’t close it. If they were all limited for thirty seconds and had big easy to hit Xs it would be fine. Waste of time and money. ### 1/5 — Great game but unethical mechanics *2025-11-14, version 1.4.6* I actually really love this game, but I have to warn other players about the blatant tactics the game uses to essentially “steal” your money from you. It may be legal, but it’s certainly not ethical. There are zero confirmations on anything you purchase with gems the currency you spend real life money on. So any accidental bump or misclick and hundreds of gems can be gone in an instant and they design several mechanics to make this more likely. Pop ups with the gem purchase being the big default option and a timer before you can exit. Needing to tap several times through a screen only to exit to screen that has a gem purchase in the exact location you were tapping, etc. I never complained about these issues and just dealt with it, but recently, I went to use 1 minute of a time potion, and it back tracked to ‘7 days’ and even though I didn’t have 7 days worth of time potions, it just used what I had anyway. 2 days worth of time potions on a candy with 5 mins left on it. There was no confirmation for using such a large amount on such a small amount, or using everything I had left, and frankly it shouldn’t be going backwards past 1 minute to begin with since it literally defaults to the max you can use on your current lowest active candy. The only reason is to deliberately cause mistakes like this in order to scam more money from people. So I reached out to customer service and explained what happened and was like I spent actual money on these time skips and now they are just gone, and their response was “Ohhhhh no!! That’s terrible, anyway, better luck next time.” So take that as you will. I’m still playing for now, but I’ve become a lot more disillusioned on them actually making changes that benefited players and profits equally, and see it’s still and always will be profits at the expense of players. ### 1/5 — Don’t get *2025-10-15, version 1.4.2* Can’t even get into the game. Large sections of a town now blocked by special candies that you can only upgrade through MANY events or maybe you get what you actually need for 1500 gems a chest? The ad removal basically doesn’t help you, it was a complete waste of money considering cost vs what you get out of it. Ignore all these “helpful” reviews they have displayed. If you haven’t downloaded this game, RUN. It’s a blast and keeps me occupied while bored or just need a good little time passer. The art style of the chomplets are adorable and I love the new stuff that was added to the game like the unique powered up special chompers that you can collect that give you buffs to progress your game level. I’d really love to see maybe a separate little area or if we could double tap the chomplets to maybe give them treats or pets or something to feel more of a connection to the little fellas. It be funny if you could brush their teeth too cause they do be eating so many candies, don’t want them to get cavities lol! I’d love to see a rainbow special edition chomplets too perhaps? Or a gold variate as well! Just some thoughts and ideas to throw out there for future updates. So far love the game even more after redownloading it after a bit of break from it (busy life).
