### 2/5 — I was born in Edmonton, raised in Saskatchewan, currently living in Ontario, Canada

*2025-11-30, version 5.5.8*

I was born in Edmonton, raised in Saskatchewan, currently living in Ontario, Canada. I have a Peel region icon account. But I can’t seem to access my icon account on my CanImmunize Account.

### 3/5 — Not as easy as it could be

*2025-11-03, version 5.5.8*

Is there not a way to upload documents other than photos?

### 3/5 — Good app but lacking in support

*2025-10-30, version 5.5.8*

I’ve had this app for a few years and it is good, however the support is lacking. I’m having a problem logging in since I got a new phone. Each time I try to reset the password the link doesn’t work. I have emailed them 3 times to tell them it doesn’t work but still nothing is fixed. Very frustrating when you’re trying to send things to the health unit for kids school. I really hope someone will fix this issue soon.

### 4/5 — Great App to have immunizations on phone… option to add Medical Conditions or other factors?

*2025-03-28, version 5.5.7*

Really like the app as really good about laying out all vaccines enter in one place and have it accessible on phone when needed.

I think would be useful to have option to include adding Medical Conditions and risk factors like immigrated populations in case more vaccines might be warranted, or if special populations like diabetes, HIV, chemotherapy, long-term care workers/residents, etc., might require additional vaccines or extra attention than a “healthy” person of same age or sex for instance

### 2/5 — Still can’t open up after recent update

*2023-11-28, version 5.3.4*

Unfortunately, I still cannot open the app after this your most recent update of today. I believe the reason for the update was to fix this very issue but it still has not on my iphone.

### 3/5 — App crashing now

*2023-10-26, version 5.3.3*

Have been using this app for years and love it. Likely the latest OS update is causing the app to crash as soon as I click on a name to view/update records. Please fix it and I’ll update this review.

Update:
After confirming all my records were in the cloud by logging in to the website, I deleted and reinstalled the app. The crashing has stopped but now when I looks at our records, there are duplicate entries. Hopefully the app just needs to sync and not our data is corrupted.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2023-10-13, version 5.3.2*

Crashes when I go to click on a record

### 4/5 — Add current vaxs

*2023-10-11, version 5.3.2*

Great app to track all my immunizations. Please update it with the RSV vaccine (for 60+) and the COVID XBB boosters. Thx!

### 1/5 — Something changed

*2023-10-11, version 5.3.2*

I used to love this app. Now I can’t access my data- and am not sure where it went- and have not received any assistance to the several requests I made for help.
Disappointing- it was such a good app

### 2/5 — Used to be great

*2023-10-05, version 5.3.1*

This app was great - at first. Now when I sign in, out of the 5 profiles I am keeping records for, when I try to open 2 of them the entire app crashes and closes. Fix it please.

### 2/5 — Can’t Access Account

*2023-10-01, version 5.3.1*

Updated app Sept 20th now I can’t access my account, it just shut down when prompt.

### 2/5 — Data Not Being Saved

*2023-09-27, version 5.3.1*

Love the idea and the design plus it is easy to use; however, I’ve just spent an hour adding entries only to have them disappear. I can’t waste time like this. I’ll set up our family vaccine records in a Google spreadsheet instead.

### 2/5 — now crashing

*2023-09-24, version 5.3.1*

Was okay before , is now crashing with latest version

### 3/5 — Keeps crashing

*2023-09-23, version 5.3.1*

Please update! Keeps crashing everytime I click on a kid’s records. Have tried logging out/back in, uninstalling/installing to no avail!

### 4/5 — I wish I could transfer my adult child’s data to his account

*2023-09-19, version 5.3.1*

After entering a lifetime of data into this app, my son is now an adult. You’d think I would be able to securely send his data to him (using 2-factor authentication or whatever) but no, I can send him a PDF. Since he’s a teenager, I’m sure he’ll spend the next 2 hours punching all of that data into the app on his phone. Yeah….

I love the app except for this one failure.

### 4/5 — Going for tracking but not upload to TPH

*2023-07-26, version 5.2.0*

Good for tracking for own use but the upload to Toronto Public Health is not reliable. For my son it did not upload anything after 2016 despite removing and re-enabling the connection.

### 1/5 — Cant choose the location

*2023-06-11, version 5.2.0*

Trying lots times can't choose the location😣

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crude

*2025-06-11, version 5.5.8*

it is impossible to add a yellow card in pdf format, I made a screenshot - it does not find it in the photo library... in general, the program has Canadian quality

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2025-05-11, version 5.5.8*

I cannot open the app as it crashes when I try. I have an old iPhone that is maxed out at iOS 12.5.7 but your rap description says that it is compatible with iOS 11.0 or later. Not sure if that is the issue or if it has something to do with one of the updates?

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-05-02, version 5.5.8*

I’ve spent the better part of the last 30 minutes trying to update my immunization with the latest vacc with luck. Clunkiest and nightmarish app I’ve had to deal with.

### 1/5 — Logs me out

*2024-11-01, version 5.5.3*

Every time I try to access it I get errors. It doesn’t let me login. Tells me there’s an error with my login info. I can login on the desktop perfectly fine. But when I use this app it logs me out and then won’t let me login back in. I end up having to uninstall and reinstall to be able to access my own data. Frustrating experience

### 1/5 — Good - but can no longer print the yellow vaccination cards.

*2023-10-29, version 5.3.3*

I used to be able to print the yellow vaccination cards. Important that I can.

Now I can’t access ANY of my records - I can see hubby's, but when I click on my name, the app closes! Totally non-responsive by email. Don’t put all your eggs in this basket

### 1/5 — Same issue as everyone else

*2023-10-26, version 5.3.2*

App crashes every time I try to open my personal records now.

### 1/5 — Info disappeared

*2023-10-25, version 5.3.2*

Recently ai uploaded info on a vaccine for Shingrex .
When I looked at a .pdf to send my doctor with all previous vaccines etc I realized all my previous data is gone ?
Not impressed and I contacted help app portion and they referred me to Google or Apple !
Just admit it’s gone !

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2023-10-24, version 5.3.2*

The app crashes when opening personal records. Was a great app until a few months ago. I have reached out to support several times but only received an automated response. Lost all vaccination records.

### 1/5 — Problems

*2023-10-17, version 5.3.2*

App used to work great but today tried to update my information and every time I press on my name it bumps me right out of the app. Tried logging out and back in again but same problem.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2023-10-16, version 5.3.2*

App crashes when I try to access a record. I haven’t been to see my family’s immunization records for the past few months. Don’t rely on this app as the only means of keeping records of your immunizations. No communications from the app developers since being notified of the issue.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The developers deserve all the praises in the world

*2026-08-06, version 5.5.8*

I’ve been using this app for the better half of a decade now and only now thought to write a review.

While I miss the older version’s ability to generate a nice matrix pdf, but this is still a fantastic app to have, especially for someone like me who had their childhood vaccines inoculated outside Canada.

Please keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Disconnect VPN before attempting to log in to app

*2024-10-07, version 5.5.2*

I was having issues attempting to log in to the app. After contacting support I realized that it was because I was connected to a VPN. Now I just make sure to pause the VPN before launching the app and everything is great. The app is very handy and provides notifications when I’m due for a specific vaccine, etc.

### 5/5 — App fixed

*2023-10-26, version 5.3.3*

App was crashing when I tried to open the records. I emailed the help account, received feedback the next day. App fixed two days later on Oct 26, 2023.

Excellent app for tracking vaccines and for providing reliable vaccine/health information.

### 5/5 — Fun and Exciting

*2022-02-03*

I felt although there wasn’t enough intrusion on my life. I figured with so many racists and misogynistic vaccine deniers there would be no way to get around Canada. Now, I can finally deal with all the Covid Mandates in style. I hope everyone in Canada is ok, I know there has been some (alleged) criticisms of Justin Trudeau, and his comments on unacceptable views, blackface, singing the banana song, painting his body in black, and of course his (supposed) lack of any brain and improbable desire for power, that it has been rough. Use this app, be a sheep 🐑💪, and put on your mask in style!!!!

### 5/5 — Long overdue!!

*2021-08-11, version 4.5.17*

I’ve been using this app for over 5 years and it needs to be better socialized and endorsed for use. It’s so we’ll done and keeps it all organized for the entire family! Well done!

### 5/5 — So refreshing... oops

*2019-04-29*

I’ve been attempting to digitize my civilian and military immunization records. I have decades of yellow forms filled with nearly indecipherable vaccinations, dates and signatures that I want to transfer to a digital record. Nearly 2.5 decades after the advent of powerful computing resources, you’d think there would be something electronic... anything digital for parents and patients to use.

I read about an app for Canadians called CANImmunuze that makes vaccination recording and tracking so easy. It’s even on the iOS App Store for free. But it’s for Canadians and interacts with the Canadian public health services only. It’s especially useful in terms of pediatric immunizations, currently kind of a hot topic.

I started thinking about it and looked for an American equivalent... there is none. Of course there is none. Why would the most advanced economy in North America deploy anything that sensible and error free? A variety of hospitals have my vaccination record but don’t share it between proprietary digital platforms.

How is it possible that the U.S., currently in the throes of a measles outbreak is not deploying a portable digital vaccination record like CANImmunize?

**Developer response:** Hi there. Thank you so very much for your great review!
Glad to see you are finding it user friendly and continue to use it.

Best,

Team CANImmunize

### 5/5 — Luke

*2019-01-31, version 3.3.3*

Very useful and convenient app. If there are any issues, the support team is extremely responsive with any follow-up.

### 5/5 — Amazing!!

*2019-01-07*

Makes keeping track of my family’s immunization records super easy! The app notifies you when a vaccine is coming due. Which is so helpful during infancy and childhood. The Immunizations also format to the “yellow card” making it easy to read and understand. There’s lots of educational information about vaccines and vaccine preventable diseases within the app, although with additional resources.

It could be improved if the immunization record(s)could be submitted to every public health unit in Ontario. Currently that service is only available with two health units in Ontario. Eventually submission available to every public health unit in Canada. It will make record management so much easier for all stake holders.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the awesome review! 🤩 So glad to hear you're enjoying the app and finding it easier to keep track of your family's immunization records. Would be great to connect and find out how we can work with your public health unit to make reporting happen for you. Can you write to us at support@canimmunize.ca? Thanks, Michelle

### 5/5 — CANImmunize. Can do!

*2018-11-14, version 3.3.3*

Great app for tracking immunization records for patients and families. Simple, easy to use design. Clear prompts for updating one’s immunization status. Most importantly, it provides an online, backed up copy of your records that is accessible from your phone.
Also useful for providers who need to (a) demonstrate vaccination status to their employer or (b) keep up-to-date with their patients’ care in the community.
Useful knowledge centre provides information on travel vaccination, provincial vaccine schedules, vaccines in pregnancy, and more.
Get the app. Get your jabs.

### 5/5 — Retrieving info

*2018-10-23*

Helpful, prompt response from customer service. Once created an account, it was able to retrieve all the records that I already had on my device from before.

**Developer response:** Hi there, so glad to hear your data was retrieved! Thanks for leaving us a great review. Please don't hesitate to connect with us again in the future. Cheers- Michelle
