I can connect my iPhone to the TS and control it. I can connect to my four Helix units on board and control the unit. I have deleted the app from my phone for the BT connection on phone and reinstalled app, set BT connection and still no update. I’m being told it’s my main board, I think it’s software. Cannon will only communicate with me via email. Their sister company thinks it’s software ### 1/5 — Where are the updates? *2024-02-11* This app has absolutely glaring weaknesses that can make it infinitely better. Radio silence on Johnson Outdoors part. Why built cutting edge products only to not optimize them? The app for the Cannon Optimums is not optimal. ### 1/5 — Crashing / No Bluetooth Connection *2022-03-07* The app crashes as soon as you connect via Bluetooth from your phone to the downrigger. Also, tried to connect via iPad and the iPad never saw the Bluetooth signal from the downrigger. Useless app at this point. Better get it updated and working before salmon season or I’m returning these Optimum TS downriggers. Was considering replacing my older Garmin gps / fish finder with a new humminbird solix, but I’ve lost confidence in this system. ### 1/5 — Crashing *2021-07-18* App crashes as soon as the blue tooth connects.
