You get 1 review with 1 star. Yet the app info reveals it as 5 stars. If this is anything like Cannon’s other connect apps, it’s gonna be useless like the other ones. How Cannon can put their names on these apps, it doesn’t advertise well. Difficult to connect the app with connect station on same network. It worked once and then not working since. 2. Very few features to handle the photos and albums on the app and connect station. It worked 6 months ago when I first got my camera, but now it aborts every time I try to start it. I have it installed on both my iPhone 7 and on my iPad and it won’t work on either. Apparently Canon Connect does not yet support the most recent iPhone software update. This as of 10-7-2016. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Love Canon DSLR cameras but hate…. *2023-02-05* their other products and confusing and impossible software and directions to connect to Bluetooth and WiFi. Impossible crappola to use or setup. Glad I just bought a used T7i as it saved me a lot of $$$$ and made me realize that my T3i is a far easier camera to use even if it does not have Bluetooth or WiFi. Because neither of those selling features have any benefit for advanced amateurs like me when it’s impossible to get to the programming to work! I want my FTb features with digital pics. Lastly, Canon, you should be ashamed of yourself for producing such non usable and frustrating software. I’m going to switch from 100% Canon and look for a manufacturer that designs and builds its camera designs by people who use their products. Because it is plainly obvious that their engineers and IT Dept do not have a clue how disjointed, non usable and non intuitive their programs are!!!! Can’t upload mp4 some do most don’t really waste of money can’t rate this canon should offer money back to people that have this really a poor product and worse app. Would have given half a star or non of was able to. ### 1/5 — Side Effects Include Anger, Frustration, Hopelessness *2019-12-14* Well in case you thought Canon could make a printer or scanner that worked without spending hours upon hours and frustration after frustration, think again. Canon has really made an idiot of themselves and their customers once again in the printer suicide family of products it appears that Canon, much like every other printer manufacturer since the dawn of humanity, has also failed to create a printer/scanner which offers even a solitary working function. Wait there more. Not only will you waste your time and money purchasing a canon brand printer scanner combo but you can download a dozen or so FREE apps to failing alongside thd corresponding printer scanner. These Canon Failed Products complement themselves quite terribly together. They’ve lowered the bar to even greater heights or should hypes because they sure do promote their nonworking garbage. Now I get to take this pile of trash back to the store for eighty dollars or maybe I’ll just tie it to my ankle and throw it over the nearest bridge; that seems like the only actual solution that Canon has left me with on this amazing Friday night. Она не ушла в прошлое, всё так же существует как и раньше.! ### 2/5 — Features are not stable *2018-06-15* Especially after the CS100 firmware upgrade which was recommended by Canon for using Mobile app to have full features has killed some of the features including the swiping to the next image from App when connected to TV is not getting refreshed in TV . This was very much needed when you want to short list your pics from a lot and to download to the mobile . Please fix !! ### 2/5 — A lot of work misses *2017-10-17, version 2.0.0* The CS-100's firmware by itself misses of a lot of tools to be a good storage device and I though this app would help, but the app misses the same tools and even more, such as a friendly way to create an album, both CS-100 as the App the user has to choose one by one photo to create an album of 2 or thousands of photos.... The app allows to download photos, but they don't appear in the native album "Last import", so if you want to create a custom album or add those photos to an album already created, you have to look for them into "All photos", because it downloads in different order as they were in the CS-100. Besides, sometimes the App says the photos don't have date, which is a big issue, because one of the few things the app makes well is to download the whole EXIF of the photos. The IU to sort all photos isn't friendly nor intuitive Canon Staff: you still have a lot of work to do, both in CS-100 as in the App, I hope you can fix them well and soon. ### 2/5 — funktioniert nur sehr eingeschränkt *2016-04-01* Bilder können auf CS geladen werden, werden dann aber über die app nicht gesehen, bevor sie erst direkt an der CS in ein Album übernommen werden.
