I could not access the internet at all from any apps. Once Canopy installed even basic local network access stopped working. Rebooted, removed other vpns (TailScale), etc. Uninstalled canopy and everything was back. I wasted a lot of time trying to tweak the configuration too. My son started at a new school, and Canopy is preventing all internet access. I tried overriding it temporarily to test if that fixed the problem, and the AI bot said “no.” When I explained that I was the Father and owner of the account, it still said no. Maybe it works better for others, but Canopy has prevented me from doing normal tasks on my Macbook, like using the internet for pretty much anything. App kept freezing during setup (on an iPhone 14 Pro Max) so had to keep refreshing it. After that I tried to change one of the categories to enhanced filtering instead of fully blocked but the option is greyed out.
