Other than that, this is a good companion app for your firm management. I call it companion because it doesn’t sport all the features the web version does. It’d be awesome if more features could be added to bring the experiences closer together. Sending questionnaires and signature requests to clients through the app is my top request. Creating invoices and sending would be a nice touch as well. Overall, happy with the app, but there is small room to improve on missing features so 4*. **Developer response:** We're sorry this happened. It’s convenient and practical to have all clients info concentrated in one place and to provide them their own login access to the clients portal. I tell them that our office provides them with their very own digital file vault with our office where their information is securely stored and accessible at any time. It’s really been great. I’d love to see the clients ability to submit requests to the office through the same platform in the future. ### 4/5 — Just missing integration with Practice Ignition! *2023-10-25* I’ll start by listing what I love about Canopy… Everything! For having seemingly endless abilities and customization, the program feels beginner-friendly and the interface is neat. The client view really stands out amongst competitors. However there is one inconvenience I have to add-the lack of integration with Practice Ignition. Canopy is, of course, still worth the headache. There has been a painful learning curve and there are issues that can use refinement, however, the development team continues to make significant improvements and support has been incredible at helping with the learning curve. No regrets! Primary reason migrating from previous client-portal was for better user-interface. I’ve been with canopy now for two years and incrementally, as a customer, I have seen recommendations made and actions taken and capabilities deployed month after month - year after year. I have now since eliminated almost ALL administrative positions in my company. I am more efficient more productive and more profitable because canopy exists. I’ve been pleased to be a client on the product development input team at several key junctures. We do all we can to exceed our customers expectations, but we are all human after all. We appreciate that you see the value of our software (and hopefully the mobile apps). I tried to login on my phone - total disaster!! It was just in an infinite loop. Sends mail to verify ID. OK... then, I verify - I’m thanked and then ... nothing. I try again - sanr thing. Makes it useless when you can’t see the client. But when you can it’s great. Everything else seems to be okay UPDATE: seems like the issue is only when you have filter selected to the default “Active Work”. While it’s nice to see and edit clients and their files, using this for workflow is just not good. There is no way to see what items have been uploaded or commented on by clients, nor does the files section denote any new files until you open a client’s folder. The app is handy for quick reference, but not really a workable part of the day. I would like to see tasks sortable by date, client, or status, as well as a Notification Center so that I know when clients have commented on a request or uploaded a file. *UPDATE* I provided this feedback to Canopy through the app. **Developer response:** Tons of great feedback here! The ability to add notes would be amazing while on the go. Maybe a read-only function of the organizers could help. I reduced multiple platforms to one. Not everything is perfect, but everything is workable from okay to excellent. And they are constantly looking to improve. The web based software is quite good as compared to other platforms. However, the companion app is fantastic! I can get so much pertinent information from it! It is very useful when I am out of the office, either at a client or just not working. It allows me to answer clients questions without having to log onto the software on my PC. The fact that I can log my time while working at a client’s office is also very good. If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be the ability to bill a client through the app. Overall I strongly recommend this app to any accounting practitioner. ### 5/5 — Woohoo! *2024-09-23, version 2.1.1* I love Canopy!!
