CanPhone is a little phone that belongs to an AI character. Your character doesn't just sit in a chat box waiting for you. A promise, a game you played together, a run-in on the map, a jab in the group chat, a comment under a post — any of it can enter long-term memory and come back later, in calls, stories, the moments feed, chance encounters and ordinary days. A PHONE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS • Messages, calls, moments, maps, games, stories and "check their phone" all feed each other • Can-X holds chats, contacts, a moments feed and a profile, so characters and the people they know behave like real social ties • Five complete skins cover the home screen, apps, settings and sheets THEY REMEMBER • Long-term facts, verbatim fragments and a local vector index work together — anything said in a chat, a group or the comments can be recalled later • Every character has their own point of view: what they lived through, what they only heard about, what they misread or guessed. None of it crosses the line into what they were never told • Experiences from private chat, group chat, offline scenes, stories, games and the map connect to one another THEY HAVE A LIFE • Characters act on their own schedule, and may run into old friends or meet someone new • When you post, the people in your circle see it at the hour they would actually pick up their phone — then like it, comment, and bring it up in conversation later • NPCs have stable identities, memories of their own, a story of how you met, and a network of relationships • Find an NPC on a character's phone, copy their Can-X ID, and become friends through a real verification conversation • Once they are a friend they are still the same person: memory, contacts, map and everything that happened before carry over intact THEY SEE PICTURES, AND DRAW THEM • Photos you send are no longer forgotten the moment they are seen — give vision its own route and what was in the picture settles into memory • Characters really do attach an image to a post; with no image service connected, a text-only model can still draw an illustration card • How pictures get made, and how long that is worth waiting for, is yours to decide in settings THEY RUN ERRANDS • Connect your own tools and services over MCP and a character can genuinely look things up, book things, get things done • Every tool call leaves a visible confirmation and a trace, and can be set to "only I may press this" YOU BRING THE MODEL CanPhone does not provide or bundle any model service. You configure a compatible third-party endpoint and key yourself. Keys, chat history, long-term memory and the vector index live on your device; generation requests go straight from your device to the provider you chose, never through a server we run. All character content is produced by the model you pick — please use it in line with the laws where you live and that provider's terms.
