Understand Cantonese and express yourself more naturally.

Type in Mandarin or Cantonese—or simply speak—and CantonAI turns your words into a two-way translation with pronunciation and Jyutping. Then ask the AI Cantonese tutor about that exact sentence to understand tone, usage, and context instead of stopping at a literal translation.

• Adapt wording for friends, elders, work, travel, or everyday conversation

• Recognize, translate, and read the result aloud

TRANSLATE TEXT AROUND YOU

Use the camera to recognize short text on menus, signs, and other everyday materials, then view its translation. Text recognition happens on the device. Recognized text is used for AI translation only after you give permission.

BUILD A PRACTICAL HABIT

Daily tasks, tone practice, a daily expression, and a learning streak help turn occasional lookups into lasting progress. Translation history keeps the latest 30 items, while important phrases can be saved for later review.

Continue with a stable device-bound guest identity or use Sign in with Apple to synchronize history, favorites, progress, and settings. Camera, microphone, and speech recognition permissions are requested only when you use the related feature.
