Extremamente desorganizado, pouco intuitivo e confuso. As informações parecem estar todas “misturadas”, o que dificulta muito a navegação e a utilização da plataforma. And it didn’t start happening until it got hacked, and I had to delete the app from my phone. Sooo, maybe that could be it. It worked fine months ago but i tried logging in again and no matter what school district i pick it shows an error. Trying the QR log in also does not work, i tried refreshing the QR multiple times and each time it gives an error. After it got hacked all I’ve had is issues. 8 times out of 10 I try to open it and it crashes immediately, really unhelpful overall. ### 1/5 — Unacceptable *2026-07-16, version 8.11.1* I have used the Canvas app for over a year, and on iOS 18 and 26 it worked great. Of course I was devastated by the app's liquid glass redesign (it was done incredibly poorly), but it worked just fine. Fast forward to today, and a few weeks ago my iPhone 14 broke so I had to find another phone, my "new" phone being on iOS 16. The last compatible version for 16 is 7.13.0, and it was released just over a year ago. You would think that a version from just over a year ago should work just fine, but in reality 7.13.0 is COMPLETELY broken. Nothing works, you can't log in, access the Canvas Network page, not even scanning a QR code works. I found a thread explaining my exact problem, but as you could likely expect, there was absolutely no helpful solution to be found. Furthermore, you can't even add the desktop site as a PWA. My guess is that you're supposed to be forced to use the mobile app, but for users like me that can't actually use the mobile app, it is disgusting. On mobile the desktop site is so broken and so clunky, it is painful to use. Especially since there are users stuck on 16 with the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and X, it is unacceptable that the app is completely broken within a year of the last iOS 16-compatible release (the thread I mentioned earlier was from May 2026). I am appalled by this, and being so hostile to users who need to use this app for school is ridiculous. Please pin my review!! *2026-07-17, version 8.11.1* This app is really nice I am in junior high and now going into ninth grade in August so I kind of have too have the app I love the app so much when I’m too lazy too open my computer and sign in I can just go too Canvas on my phone! Thank you! As a university student when opening up an assignment page, the rubric only opened when you clicked “rubric”. The current version is different. The current version already has rubric opened when you open up the assignment page, so you must scroll past the rubric the get to the part where you submit an assignment. It’s a messy UI/UX from my perspective. It could complicate learning for new Canvas users and its frustrating current user to close or scroll to get past it.
