I hate subscriptions. The functionality if has works reasonably well although sometimes things update in one place but not another and then start working again only to have missed a piece of the drawing all together.. so syncing could use a bit of work.. The main thing I don't like is it's ONLY a drawing app. I can't copy and paste a photo of something I've already drawn or a photo as part of the colab. I also can't import a previous session, once it's closed, it's closed and there are no edits... Thanks. The app works fine now, and my 7 year old son and I enjoyed drawing together on our Ipads. We get to draw simultaneously on the same page, so it’s great fun. The different sizes of brushes are handy, and there is a decent selection of colors. It would be great to have more, but as far as I can tell, this app seems completely free, so it’s a great deal! =) I am still not sure if this app can work with someone who isn’t on our wifi connection, but that will be great, if I can figure that out. And tried the “solo” mode, and it’s LITERALLY JUST A CANVAS AND A LIMITED AMOUNT OF COLORS, YOU DON’T EVEN GET TO MAKE YOUR OWN!!!! So I tried being the host of a session or whatever, and I made it an open session, and it said I need to get Canvas PRO. And you might be thinking, “then just get Canvas Pro, are you stupid?” UNTIL YOU REALIZE IT’S $4!!!!!!😡😡😡 I shouldn’t be paying MONEY TO DRAW WITH PEOPLE!!!!!!!! UGHHHHHHHHHH! But the drawing features are lacking. I found myself wishing for even an undo button, or a way to make more colors than just the preselected 31. Another feature I’d like to see is the ability to resize the brush beyond the simple three size presets. But as far as being what is advertised, it succeeds. Hopefully the devs will add more drawing features in the future? ### 4/5 — Fundemental features and Mysk Inc. cares now also for M1-M3-updates *2024-02-01* Canvas Pro: Fundamental functionality, also works with more than 2 devices in the Pro version. Missing a step back function. The integration of Apple's original photo editing functions would be ideal (PhotoKit can be integrated as a developer library). Then there are 5 stars. Would perhaps be a good idea to develop this further as a directly integrable tool for ZOOM, Teams etc.? Fortunately, the Mysk products now all work with M1-M3 chips - thank you! - It took a long time, but finally also Mysk’s popular TextCrafter has been running again on the latest devices and iOS versions since version 2 at the end of Jan. 2024. It's nice that the developers have remembered their good old "virtues" with the users in mind :-) - Status: Jan. 31, 2024 - Canvas Pro: Grundfunktionalität, läuft in der Pro-Version auch mit mehr als 2 Geräten. Vermisse eine Schritt zurück-Funktion. Optimal wäre die Integration von Apples Original Fotobeareitungsfunktionen (PhotoKit als Entwicklerbibliothek einbindbar). Dann gibt es 5 Sterne. Wäre vielleicht eine gute Idee, das auch als direkt integrierbares Tool für ZOOM, Teams et al. weiter zu entwickeln? Die Mysk-Produkte funktionieren erfreulicherweise nun auch alle mit M1-M3-Chips - Danke! - Es hat lange gedauert, aber endlich läuft auch Mysk’s beliebte TextCrafter-App seit Version 2 Ende Jan. 2024 auf den neusten Geräten und iOS-Versionen wieder.
