Only thing is, at times. Not fully updated. Also, for some reason, the zoom feature does not zoom in as much as before- making it hard to see how the roofs are oriented most of the time. ### 4/5 — Canvass *2025-08-19* Integrate Project Sunroof button in the app so we can see which house get the best sunlight hours. Also after 6 months make the pins other people put on houses disappear, so it’s not confusing with the pins I’m putting up. **Developer response:** Thank you for the great feedback! Have it constanlty running drains battery very quickly. - Many of the Icons to mark are unnecessary for day to day knocking. Prioritizing Not interested, Not home, and callbacks should be primary button. Many reps will put a note on their own as to why door needs to be revisited. Cool features to add: Tab that tracks numbers so don’t need a tally app Google Project Sunroof integration to see sun hours on home. A reset homes feature (may have but hard to find) as sometimes houses too close together merge as one pin making it slower to mark. Some had solid features but the rest of the apps failed to hit the Mark. Canvass has been great at allowing me to see my day to plan and track my progress easily in a nice UI. From door to door approaches to remote and cross country sales. It helps me manage my contacts, verify ownership, and track my numbers. I wouldn’t ever go back to another platform. Everything was smooth. I’m on my 15 month with them. and now I’m constantly not having service. It keeps getting out of the notes while I’m typing and occasionally crashing even while I’m on fiber Wi-Fi in front of the router something has to change. I will rewrite when you do fix. ### 1/5 — Pins are misplaced *2025-08-18, version 1.34.5* I love the workflow and aesthetics of the app but the GPS and Pins are not in the right place they are way off and highly inaccurate. ### 1/5 — Poor expectations set with ability to upload our own leads *2023-11-07* We were going to give them a run after having 2 weeks of glitches with salesrabbit. They never mentioned we could only upload 5000 leads but said they were working to add to that limit. So after prepaying for 30 agents for 3 months we realized during onboarding that we couldn’t seamlessly upload our data and couldn’t store any real volume of leads in their platform like their competition. Platform looked great for small teams or agents, but anyone engaging to upload their own leads should consider a different platform. ### 1/5 — App didn’t work for me. *2021-03-23, version 1.23.2* Only thing that pulled up is a blank screen. ### 1/5 — Super glitchy *2021-01-03, version 1.22.5* Love the concept of the app but it’s the most glitchy app I have used since I got the iPod touch in 2009. Need major bug fixes and improvements ### 1/5 — LOST YEARS OF DATA INPUT!!! *2020-12-16* I began using Canvass reluctantly a couple of years ago. The only reason I started using it was because the company I work with, Brinks Home Security offered it to all of their dealers for free. I was previously using Spotio and had no gripes with them. Again, the only reason I started using this app was because it was offered for free. I’ve personally input thousands of potential customers into Canvass so I could always have tracking of anything I might have came across from a home owner not being home, not interested at the time, a new customer, etc... After years of inputting this data one can only imagine the amount of money being left on the table of this data was lost. About a month ago the Brinks Home Security dealer I worked with decided to dismantle their door-to-door program. A few days prior to that Brinks Home Security decided to randomly and suddenly stop offering Canvass to all dealers for free. When this happened I immediately couldn’t login to access my data. I reached out to the ownership and corporate staff of Canvass to assist me in getting my data. I was never really super excited to use Canvass anyways so I wanted to research other door tracking apps to make the best decision for myself for the future. To make a long story short, after well over a month of consistent communication with Canvass corporate staff, they stated I could not access my data unless I became a paid customer again. Meaning, I’m being forced to sign up with a company against my will just do access my years of data I input. Normally I don’t go write bad reviews but considering I’ve came to no resolution I want to warn people against using this company because you will lose everything unless you agree to what they want. When deciding on a door tracking app for your business make sure that you will have access to all of the data if you ever decide to leave. I’m super unhappy with this company and this review will remain until I receive all of my data. ### 1/5 — BEWARE FAKE APP *2020-10-12, version 1.22.5* TOTALLY USELESS AND IMPOSSIBLE TO USE! The only good reviews are from totally bogus accounts. Yet one common theme runs through all real name accounts- THIS APP DOESN’T WORK!!! Notice, they never answer any questions about how to login since the app doesn’t recognize any company names at all. They all say that they can do the same things, but the user experience is not the same. While the others felt clunky, slow, and glitchy; Canvass is fast-performing, well designed, and intuitive. After implementing Canvass, our sales increased 175%, and our employee attrition decreased by 50%. It has a lot of features and has the capability to link with CRMs. I am not great with technology so I found myself confused. With an app like this in my opinion it can only be as good as it’s support so thank you Kyle for all the support. You patiently answered my questions and solved the problems I had.
