How does that even work? Am I missing something? **Developer response:** Hello, Becky. Thanks for looking at our new app! We're still working on how to best position the service. I promise we'll get better :) Think about Parallel more as a communication tool rather a traditional dating app that discovers new people. Parallel can be in fact a LITERAL dating app, a "relationship compass" that allows you to very quickly unpack tricky expectations and conversations that might not normally arrive until weeks/months/years later--directly with another user in-person on a date. Dates often want to put the best foot forward yet that sometimes means avoiding the hard conversations (which can be a tedious drag) which are critical to the foundation of any relationship. This app has enabled me to have very real and honest conversations with virtual strangers and friends alike. Definitely the future of online (conscious) dating🤩 ### 5/5 — Direct answers, easygoing conversations *2021-03-11, version 2.0* I’m in love with this app! There are so many things that are important to me in a long term relationship, and I’m a single mom - I do NOT want to waste my time with people who just don’t want the same things as me. This app gives me a fun way to get direct answers to the questions I like to ask early, without risking coming on too strong. It serves as an excellent ice breaker and gets the hard questions out of the way fast. It helps you address the non-negotiables right away so you don’t waste any additional time. It also helps you learn more about what is important to you so you know exactly what you want in a relationship. I highly recommend this app! ### 5/5 — Beautiful Interface - Great Potential *2020-05-04, version 1.0.1* This app seems to be in an early stage, but I can see it gaining lots of traction upon taking off. Unspoken social contracts at the press of a button... Incredibly useful in these uncertain times. **Developer response:** Thanks, Jack. We've added Something Pandemic recently so two people can quickly compare their pandemic practices with each other (safely from 6ft away). Keeping each other healthy sometimes means there's a lot of nuances to talk about.
