## What is CANY?

CANY brings 2000s digital cameras back to life — not with pixels, but with physics.

This is not a filter app. Light is computed at the charge level of a virtual CCD sensor — the light pillars (smear) of streetlights at night, blooming that bleeds from highlights, and gritty color noise all *emerge* in response to the actual light in your scene.

THE CAMERAS
• CANY DC-2140 (2006) — a 2.1MP CCD compact digicam. Memory-card limits, slow write speeds, LCD ghosting, even the wobble of contrast AF, just like back then
• CANY CP-330 (2006) — a slider-phone camera. Gritty phone-cam texture, backlit keypad, selfies, and 7 effects
• CANY Phone 6 (2015) — the warm, milky colors of that era's smartphone, with a faithful iOS 4-style camera app

ONE OF A KIND
Engrave a name and a sensor is born from it. Its hot-pixel map and color drift derive from the name — your CANY shoots unlike any other CANY in the world.

A LIVING DEVICE
The battery drains like the real thing, and the camera dies when it's spent. Charging your iPhone charges CANY too. Keep shooting and the next camera arrives on your shelf.

MEASURED, NOT GUESSED
The colors come from measurement, not vibes — color matrices from real 2006 CCD cameras, measured tone curves, and preferred-skin-tone research are all baked in.
