They need to maintain the app. It’s obvious there are multiple bugs that need to be fixed with it but the problems go ignored. I rate it 2 stars because WHEN it works, the experience is great.

It functions to bring up assignments, but took 2 minutes solely for me to open up the canvas assignment. Other canvas apps are quicker than this and loaded in 30 seconds.

I find this app to be useless.  It does not provide me with anything useful for class, financial aid, registration, etc.  it is extremely hard to maneuver and I really cannot even tell you what it can be used for.  It needs a lot of work!

It’s exactly like going on your phone browser and going on the Capella site. The zoom is always off, I can never get to the buttons. Half the pages are cut off. It’s super glitchy. Will often say unavailable with pages. It’s just sometimes convenient to go in and check things like emails. But the canvas page is annoying. Not at all useful.

As many have explained, the mobile app is not a desktop replacement. However it would be nice to have more adequate capabilities to perform simple discussion post.

I am having to frequently delete and re-load this app. It consistently freezes. Due to the issues, it is almost useless on the iPhone. I almost always have to access Capella on my laptop, which is very inconvenient.

I was excited to be able to have an app to use to access my classes on the go or during break at work but the app does not load properly most of the time and now when I try to sign in it won’t recognize my username and password even though when using the same information on the website I am able to log in just fine. There needs to be an update to fix all of these issues otherwise the app is useless to anyone.

In the four months that I’ve had this app, I’ve had to delete it and download it approximately 15 times. It works about 50% of the time and 50% of the time that it does work you still aren’t able to use certain functions it’s basically useless.

I downloaded this app because supposedly I should be able to login and complete coursework on the go. I was super excited for this as my role requires me to be mobile pretty frequently due to travel. But I can’t log in. I attempted to set up my Capella mobile at the same time as my desktop account and the mobile app never even logs me in. After 3 attempts, you get locked out and that’s where my mobile account has stayed.

This app is just absolutely horrendous. Half the time it doesn’t load. Try to access notifications and it tells me “Try Again”. It’s buggy, glitchy, and is impossible to accomplish anything in it as a learner.

Neither iPhone or iPad version recognize or accept spaces in passwords, which is pretty common & simple. When pressing space, it does not register, when copy pasting it shows a space but still doesn’t recognize it. Worked in previous version so they must’ve broken it with an update in the last year.

Even with the multiple updates, I am not able to use this site on my IPAD.  It is very frustrating.  Notifications do not function. Link o course work Al’s does not function.

So basically, this is an amazing app if you attend Capella University, however that being said this thing seems to be down about 90% of the time. It seems like they have maintenance ongoing every single week. So the app is technically functional but if you expect to see anything about your classes well guess again unless you’re lucky enough for it to be that 10% of time.

As others have mentioned this app is 98% broken and not very useful for anything right now.  I can only access my notifications.  When I try to go to my course-room or anything else it just shows an error or blank page.

I have attempted several times to get on this app on my iPad and my iPhone and I had a time it works. First, it is not user-friendly second, it is slow and for spinning. Good thing I don’t get frustrated because I need to be focused on my schooling and my degree and today’s time. Many people use iOS and android devices is suggestive that all apps accommodate the usage of both platforms. Hopefully they’ll get this fixed. You are a higher learning educational school however, this does not promote higher learning. I’m considering taking a certificate. I Cappella to be the school that I returned to in order to get my certification I’m not sure that I can do this with all of these technological barriers.

A lot of the poor reviews are from quite a few years ago. Allow me to say that I am a fan of the app and it seems to replace having to use your computer 24/7. I was able to access my financial aid, class lists, discussions boards, grades, and anything else I would normally get from using my computer. I am a fan of the app.

Love the app and it has come a long way. I have been with Capella for going on 3 years and with the use of the app I can respond to discussion posts and replies when I am away from home! Keep up the good work! It does crash from time to time but overall it’s good app.

It was already pretty great but they keep improving it. If you study with Capella it's a must have as it keeps you firmly and so easily connected with your courses, grades, everything on the move when you're not on or needing to be on the desktop site doing actual work. Great job!

Great basic app for viewing. Needs more work with interacting with the app and less bugs. Perhaps a function to save discussion posts as you type so just in case the app does crash or closes, the work is saved on the app and via site. Other than that, good to view discussions and classwork.

I love having a mobile ID card with me at all times, but my favorite thing is following the blue dots to see the posts that apply to me. I wish they did that on the internet site. The app is great.

This app is so user friendly. Having the ability to do research in the library database is a great feature especially for us who are busy.  Viewing our discussion questions and course material is a huge feature for me. I rather pull out my iPad than carry around a laptop.  This app has helped me with time management as well, because my iPad is always with me.
