If you’ve played pocketGM (Which is still a great game too) this will feel like going from madden 2000 to NFL2K7. The details added to plays, injury reports , scouting is just spectacular plus the AI knows when you’re trying to offload bad contracts making trading and free agency a bit harder . I held off because one of goals was to balance the game further, and people submitting screenshots could be confusing misleading regarding the base games balance. A lot of attention to detail shows that this isn’t just another vibe-coded app with clunky and disappointing gameplay. Even though it is still early in its development, there is a ton of depth here and it is really fun to play. The mechanics are solid in each phase — drafting, free agency, in-season games, playoffs, awards, retirements, re-signing period, and staff contracts. The developer clearly knows how football and more importantly — how a good GM game should function. I like some of the features such as the practice squad and the extended stats. But besides that Pocket GM has is beat everywhere else. UI still needs some work and is not very responsive. Some of the stats don’t make any sense I had a player get 22 sacks but everywhere else including the league wide stats only said he got 8. The use of AI to generate stories loses its charm after a few seasons. **Developer response:** Hey there, I look forward to earning those 5 stars from you one day! The game has been out for less than a month, and I'm actively working pushing the game both functionally and creatively in new directions every day. If you've followed since launch hopefully you've seen that, but if not hang tight because the next few months will really take it forward from a realism perspective. ### 4/5 — ADD NFL ROSTERS *2026-08-30* If you add the NFL rosters I would have gave it a five star. I just want to play with the players I know so it’s fun and not confusing. Also I’m a bills fan,GO BILLS!!! **Developer response:** Hey there, thanks for providing feedback! So I cannot simply use player's likeness in game from a legal perspective. You will note that no other football GM game does this unless they're licensed. I will eventually allow people to create their own rosters and load them, but note that will require someone spend a great deal of time doing so. Additionally, even if you had real NFL rosters, after several seasons almost everyone will have been replaced with generated players, so quite honestly I am not sure it's going to make much of an impact to add real soon anyways, ### 5/5 — Clean and in-depth. (EDIT) *2026-09-13* Plenty of control over the league and how you’d like it to be run. Pre-game analysis and end of season recap are the cherry on top. I’m sure I’ll run into some bugs eventually, but this simulator is leagues above the rest. Please add a manual save feature! The Draft feels way too easy,seems every team is drafting good. Drafted players seem like they develop really fast too. There really isn’t a difference in team overalls either. Feels really easy to build a team. I went from 8-9 to 12-5 within 1 year. Not saying it can’t happen…let’s be real sometimes though. Other than that I can see this game exploding Past PGM 3 once you guys finish the product. **Developer response:** Hey there, yea we're actively working on tweaking the balance of realism. After 1.2.8 is out, I will turn my focus towards the draft again. It's a delicate balance as it permeates throughout the balance of the entire game, so it's somewhat tough to do and requires careful decision making.
