Very buggy and will crash randomly. Huge hassle. ## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated) ### 3/5 — Enjoy the product but the all needs a thorough QA and maintenance review *2024-08-18, version 1.4* I am enjoying the product so far but considering the cost of the product the app should not feel so cheap and thrown together. I recommend a code review and an update to correct these issues. A few of the issues I have noticed: The Weekly Summary on the Treatment screen loses completed treatment days at random. Sometimes they come back and sometimes they do not, leading to a misrepresentation of completed treatments vs missed treatments. After successfully completing treatment with a Bluetooth-enabled cap, the device turns off as expected but then the app shows an unnecessary “could not connect to device” error, which makes the app quality feel poor. The camera functionality when taking progress photos will intermittently take a long time to actually capture the photo using either the front or the rear camera (we are talking many seconds, as in 10 seconds or more in some cases, while holding the phone in place until the capture finally occurs). In my experience, this holds true even when the only running app on my iPhone 14 Pro is the Capillus app. I would assume having other apps running or suspended in the background would result in further degradation of the app experience. Navigating progress photos from day to day feels backwards. Tapping “Next” goes back a calendar day which does not feel intuitive at all. ### 2/5 — App freezing *2025-01-09* I didn’t care really that much for the Capillus app, except when it is time for the daily 6 minute treatment. The problem with the app showed up as soon as I downloaded the IOS 18 software update for the IPhone. The app just started to display a white background to the point where I have to delete and remove the app from my phone and redownload again. I contacted Capillus maybe October or November and the rep apologized and still up to this point nothing has been done.
