Yes, I know I made a payment on an account, I make lots of them as a matter of course, I don’t need to be worried that something is up and have to log in to see a secure message about it. My former husband is withholding funds & it is negatively impacting my credit score because I need the credit cards in order to buy items & until he pays me the money owed I cannot pay them back. I though this settlement would be finished by now, & he is dragging it along now for 8 months. I have legal fees to deal with this, I have a car payment because I need a car & my daughters’ birthdays are in the summer. I needed new clothes for a new job & I am struggling because of him. I need help. I have always had excellent credit. I’m permanently unable to see what bad things someone to doing to me. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Security Alerts / New Dark web alert *2026-09-03, version 1.157.0* This app CreditWise has reduced my trust in it, because is sending me alerts that my email password has been compromised and it is in the dark web. I have changed my password numerous of times, but every week a new message is coming with NO proof what is the location in the dark web detected and what password they have. If is already in the dark web there nothing to worry that they will expose the information to my personal message. So I am taking this as a useless application that do not help but panic people. Most importantly there is no way you can send them message and ask them additional information about how they detected that the password is exposed? Are they testing that the password is really exposed? Capital One’s CreditWise is my favorite. Easy to navigate. I like the simulation part so you can estimate what different actions will do to your score like pay down debt, apply for a new credit card, get a new mortgage. It also explains well why your credit is what it is and how the top performers compare. Very good credit monitoring site moving betting just reporting your credit to educating you on ways to improve your individual score.
