I was able to create my own exams based on sections/topics I wanted to work on more. Some of the questions were asked in a way that was very similar to the actual exam. Besides the app/desktop version not allowing me to access my last 200+ out of 750 questions, it is a great tool to use as part of your studying! I went in feeling a lot more prepared than I did days earlier and wished I found this weeks earlier. Go for it! ### 5/5 — Pocket Prep CAPM app is key *2018-09-20, version 6.5.6* Passed my CAPM exam today on the first try, scoring above target in 9 of 14 areas. If I hadn't invested in the full CAPM app a few months back, I doubt I would have been successful. The app doesn't have all the possible questions and answers. It trains you to think through the question and understand the ITTO process, roles of the PM, stakeholder, customers, and others. It could use a lot more info on Agile/Waterfall, but that's a new area for the PMBOK anyways. Key is to get the full app, start taking the larger tests, READING the explanations whether you got the answer right or wrong, and then keep re-testing. It's easier to read and digest info with this app than the online PMBOK. You won't memorize the answers, instead you'll gain a much better understanding of the process through repetition. Don't hesitate on getting the full app. $20 investment in your professional capabilities will return exponential dividends. ### 5/5 — Great tool for CAPM *2018-07-09, version 6.5.4* I passed my CAPM exam july of 2018. Question here were very realistic to what I had on the exam. I used another online course and this app to practice. ### 5/5 — Great App to pass CAPM *2018-06-05, version 6.5.3* I used the PMBOK to study chapters and the app allows for questions from a single chapter or how many you prefer. I took the pilot exam for CAPM and passed with above target rating. I tried to read the book only but the information wasn't sticking. When I did the test questions in the app and started learning how PMI would be asking questions I started to understand the information. Trust me had I just studied the book only and didn't have these practice questions I wouldn't have done well on the real exam. Pay for the full app it’s definitely worth it to pass first try. ### 5/5 — User friendly *2018-05-15, version 6.5.3* I enjoyed this app. I used it for a month and passed my CAPM on the first try. The developer sent me an email the day of my test saying Good Luck. This was a fantastic tool, all questions are pulled from the PMBOK, with clear and concise explanations for the justification of an answer. It was awesome before that! ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2018-06-15, version 6.5.4* Not impressed. In the practice tests it gives an explanation for the correct answer and cites what page it can be found in the PMBOK 6th edition, but when I look it up in the PMBOK 6th edition that I bought from PMI, it isn’t there. Not even close. So I don’t trust this to prepare me for the exam. I’d give zero stars but that’s not an option. ### 1/5 — Did Not Like *2015-05-03, version 5.0* Plenty of the answers are incorrect. For example, which is not an input to the control scope process? The correct answer was change requests, however it does appear in the answer list. Only verified deliverables and validated deliverables which are used interchangeably by the pmbok. And although "verified" is the technical term used in the pmbok (which the capm test is based on), it was chosen as the correct answer for this question, although incorrect. Another question was "Which process within the time management area is used to monitor performance against the baseline..." The answer is control schedule as it is the best answer in this case but it is not listed in the answer list. Instead, control scope (which is part of the Scope Management knowledge area) was supposedly the correct answer. There are many questions that have 3 correct answers and one obviously incorrect answer within the answer choices, but the question is not "which is NOT" which it should be. I paid $20 for the full version of this app and it's inaccurate and missing information namely the last two chapters of what is tested on for the capm exam. I would not recommend anyone purchase this app and I demand my money back for such a misleading service. ### 2/5 — Decent, but... *2018-12-18, version 6.7* Questions are helpful. However, does not actually send emails when user wants to reset password; reverts to free level after long pause (overnight) even if user has paid for increased number of questions. ### 2/5 — Create custom exams doesn't function properly *2016-01-02, version 5.3* If you want to test on specific pimbok chapters you will also get questions from other chapters that you didn't specify. They advertise customizable tests but right now that feature doesn't function correctly. Now on to the PMP *2020-05-19, version 6.7.6* It’s not a perfect app but I used this app to build confidence with the exam. I used this app with my knowledge and process chart. I still use the same format studying for the PMP: PMBOK, knowledge/process chart and this app. Wish me luck with passing the PMP. Advice: study, study and study no magic with this exam. Passed my exam! *2020-01-07, version 6.7.6* Very easy to use app that helped me pass my exam. I got the premium version and it was totally worth it. I was able to study on the go and took over 600 practice questions through the app. The app also highlights areas for improvement and tracks your progress. Get the unlimited version so you have access to all of the questions - you won’t regret it. ### 5/5 — Must have Convenient tool! Passed CAPM exam *2019-12-18, version 6.7.6* I’m writing this review the same day that I passed my CAPM exam. I used several resources to study for the exam, but I truly feel this app helped me secure a successful pass. Although there could be some improvements with the app, the content within the app is excellent because it pulls the references straight from the PMBOK guide with page numbers and they update the content on a regular basis. They give explanations to every question which helps your learn why the answer is correct and why the wrong answers are not correct. It’s critical to understand the reasoning behind the questions rather than memorizing. I bought the ultimate package 18 days before my exam and I passed with above target on over half of the subjects and target for the rest and only 2 areas below target. I also read Joseph Phillips All in One guide front to back and used his practice exam software. I have the PMBOK guide, but I rarely touched the book and only glanced at a few pages when I wanted clarification on a subject I wanted more information. The fact you have access to 700+ practice questions at the tip of your fingers made it a no brainer for me. The questions helped a great deal for the official exam. Highly recommend. And if you fail, you still have the app forever and can reattack it!! Last piece of advice: know the 49 processes and the chart; know the ITTOs for the processes. ### 5/5 — Highly Recommend *2019-09-22, version 6.7.3* I bought this app to review my knowledge of the PMBOK before taking the exam...
