### 1/5 — Account creation is impossible

*2023-05-17*

First off. ByteMark is a horrible and evil company that has attempted to sue other transit companies because they submitted a weak patent on “visual tickets”. Luckily they lost in court but that does stop them from grifting this app onto cities for many contracted years Second, account creation is not possible at the time of writing this. Nice work by your QA department ByteMark, and the lack of automated testing. Second, password reset also prompts an error that you should have to contact customer support, even Thoth the change actually works. Y’all are such an embarrassment in the public transit technology space. I hope that CapMetro sees this eventually and moves everything to Transit App just like Denver and other cities.

### 1/5 — Can this app be any worse?

*2022-10-06, version 4.032*

The consistency of the app is god awful. Somtimes, a bus will come 10+ minutes early, but on the app it still says it's "on schedule". You should not have to show up to a bus stop 15 minutes before the bus's supposed arrival time just because this god forsaken app can't update to real time. Also, sometimes buses will come that aren't even on the app. Make it better.

### 1/5 — Not for older phones

*2021-09-01, version 4.032*

If you have anything below the new apple OS don’t get this app. It’ll just crash constantly and work maybe one out of 40 times you open it. I’ve lost multiple day passes and one week pass to the app not opening for me. Decided to just uninstall and take the loss. Never using this app again.

### 1/5 — trip planner unreliable; LGBTQIA2+ clinics unlisted

*2021-06-14, version 4.023*

this app is okay when it works. it’s nice to be able to buy tickets, view schedules/routes, and see mostly accurate live bus movements. i’m glad for the cashless, contactless options. the QR tickets scan on the bus maybe half the time, though that may be a scanner machine problem. but the very basic, essential trip planner feature is terribly inconsistent and quite frequently doesn’t give me “bus only” results - even when the start is a bus stop/depot, the destination auto-populates by name, the walking distance/transfer/etc parameters are maxed, and my trip is within them. i have learned to use apple maps for planning, which never has these issues. it’s incredibly frustrating and time-consuming trying to get it to work so i can save/quickly view/follow a trip (and busing already takes usually 2-3x longer than driving). these issues aside, public transport is already very taxing for me as i am disabled. additionally, NONE of the KIND clinics auto-populate, which means that other LGBTQIA2+ who rely on bus and this app may not be able to access their healthcare.

### 2/5 — Not accessible for the blind?

*2021-03-06, version 4.023*

When using the latest app version with voiceover, you are not able to purchase tickets independently because everything is not being read with assistive technology. This is laughable since I am a disabled person trying to purchase a ticket to allow me to write paratransit… I was able to do this before

### 4/5 — App problems

*2020-10-13, version 4.017*

Ever since the update I haven’t been able to use any of the tickets I bought because they all say they are invalid really frustrating how this never happened till the update

### 2/5 — Much less accurate after update

*2020-09-26, version 4.017*

I can put in addresses and the app will show that there isn’t a route available—but Google Maps will show the available routes AND their departure/arrival times. Why is Google more useful than your own app? People who can’t drive are depending on the buses and need accurate info to plan their business. FIX THIS.

### 3/5 — Tickets glitch and bus drivers get mad at me :(

*2020-08-19, version 4.013*

Lots of positive about the app. Payments are easy and fast, purchasing the tickets is simple, and saving money on a week’s or month’s worth of tickets in one is fantastic. Plus, seeing 95% accurate arrival updates is great.

However, the whole reason I use this app is to ride the bus. And when the tickets glitch (it’s supposed to open to show a blue screen if the ticket is active) that makes me stressed out every time I wanna ride. And mostly bus drivers don’t care, but every now and then they think I’m trying to bypass the system with an old ticket or something. So I feel skeevy when I actually paid for the ticket and am trying to do the best I can to prove that the ticket is real. If I didn’t rely on the bus so often, and had cash on hand more often, I wouldn’t use this ticket function. But, this is where I am. I’ve reinstalled the app multiple times and it’s the same thing.

### 2/5 — A lot of bugs in this app

*2020-07-29, version 4.013*

Everytime I buy a 30 day pass it will only work for a few days and then the ticket will no longer open. I contacted cap metro and all they had to say was that the drivers were allowed to charge me extra fare. I’m not sure why it’s so hard for them to just look at the expiration date on the ticket just like they would if a paper ticket won’t scan. But instead they just want to charge me again. Fix the bugs or at least update your drivers on how to look at the expiration date which is right on the front screen before opening the ticket.

### 2/5 — TICKET WONT OPEN

*2020-07-18, version 4.013*

Its been happening for the last 3 months but my tocket wont open when i click it. It louds but never pulls up my boarding pass. I have called to have it fixed and even went to the metro store and they have fixed it but then a day or 2 days later it does it again. This is bad since i feel like im wasting $11 every other week
