### 3/5 — Taking away features

*2025-01-17*

Seems like they removed the ability to track your bus on the map. (By clicking on it)
This was lucrative because the times of arrival are often inaccurate. Also helped me get an idea of what places the bus stopped at. Please consider bringing that back. App works half the time and sometimes adds a charge out of nowhere.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2024-11-08*

As a systems architect / analyst, who regularly has engagements with large clients to collect feedback and customer experience to improve tools / apps, this is by far the worst design I’ve seen in a long time. App is not intuitive, clunky and downright unusable. The poor staff on the trains have to do customer support and they only learn the app through passengers teaching them. I’d suggest you put yourself in the end user shoes and revamp the entire app from the customer eyes and not the developers. Don’t use “jargon” only known by CapMETRO, use everyday vocabulary such as bus only, train only.

**Developer response:** Hello,

We would love more insight on what you find troubling with the app. Please feel free to submit more feedback at customer.service@capmetro.org

### 2/5 — Good for payment; terrible to plan trip

*2024-11-01*

If you want to see when your bus arrives next, where different routes go, avoid this app as it is only endlessly frustrating to the infrequent and casual rider. It may be built well for the seasoned user but that’s not me

**Developer response:** Thank you for submitting your feedback. Please let us know which specific routes you are having trouble with by emailing us at customer.service@capmetro.org

### 4/5 — Great App, Sometimes Won’t Scan

*2024-10-05*

Even with brightness on full, it sometimes is a pain to scan off of your phone, but the app generally works.

### 3/5 — Hard to create account

*2024-09-21*

Finally figured key functions out

**Developer response:** Please let us know what trouble you are having at customer.service@capmetro.org

### 1/5 — Broken, again, but what’s new with Austin

*2024-09-12*

As expected, I can’t even log in. These developers don’t understand that people who rely on this app don’t have a car (you think even a kid would realize but no). They somehow cannot comprehend that we need this app to ride a public bus. We do not have ATMs just scattered around our neighborhoods for cash, so we do NEED this app. Do you think the developers even have degrees? You’d think a developer from Austin (home of UT) would know how to make a functioning app but I guess that’s too high a bar for these coders. Shame. Lyfts it is.

**Developer response:** Please contact our support team at customer.service@capmetro.org so we can look into your login issues.

### 5/5 — Cap Metro

*2024-09-10*

Don’t know what I’d do without this bus service. I’m 80 and don’t drive. It’s my only way to get to appointments. The drivers are all nice and helpful. They get me to my appointments on time and get me home too. Thanks Cap Metro!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review!

### 1/5 — Can’t use passes??

*2024-08-29*

Every time I click on my virtual card is says no passes available??? I can’t even click on the passes I bought to use??? How does this even work???

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2024-08-22*

Sometimes marks a trip as existing but the bus simply doesn’t show up. I’ve spent countless minutes under the sun waiting for the bus to show up just to realize it doesn’t exist apparently.

### 2/5 — Bus can’t scan AMP card screen

*2024-08-13*

The equipment on the buses is almost never able to read my AMP card screen in the app. Screen brightness is all the way up, but it doesn’t help. Even when it does scan, I have to move my phone around at all distances and angles. Bus drivers wave me on, since this happens all day and holds up pop, but Capmetro loses moneyI shouldn’t complain,

**Developer response:** We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the app. We strive to make updates that better the performance of the app. Reach out to us at customer.service@capmetro.org if you still run into issues.
