## What is Capsify?

When you arrive somewhere new, the question is always the same: where should I actually go here? Google Maps shows what has the most reviews, not the best place. Reddit threads are years old. TikTok runs its own algorithm. The thing that's worked is texting someone who lives there — but most of the time, you don't know anyone who does.

Capsify is a mobile app where people put together small, opinionated collections about places they know — we call them capsules. Best Thai in Seattle. Weekend hikes within an hour of the city. Where to eat ramen in Tokyo. The Brooklyn bookshop worth crossing town for.

When you land somewhere, the app surfaces capsules tied to that location, made by people who know the area. Closer to asking a friend than reading reviews.

A capsule isn't only places. It can hold a restaurant pin, a photo of the dish, a note about which seat to ask for, a song you heard there, the chef's old interview, a short video clip from the trip. That mix is what makes it read like a real recommendation rather than a list of bookmarks.

  zoom. Long-press + to jump right in.

• Start faster. Begin from a template like "Best coffee
  in ___", set a goal, and skip the busywork — titles
  and tags are optional now.

• Develop in the dark. Add to a sealed capsule without
  seeing what others put in. It all reveals together
  when the day comes. Invite friends with a share link.

• A fresh look. New app icon, redesigned navigation,
  and covers that finally show off your best photos.
