After ordering on-line, I walked in to pick it up and no customers were in line or sitting there waiting for their food. I was greeted with, “Welcome to Captain D’s. There is going to be a 5 minute wait before I can take your order.” It was a younger girl with dark hair. I told her it was a pick up she said to sit down and wait. I was pleasantly surprised when they had my food ready within 5 minutes. In all fairness, after I walked in, more people came in and they were told the same thing. However, when I asked for an order of cracklins, the same girl immediately responded, “I don’t think we have any,” as if she was annoyed. Anyone that has EVER worked at Captain D’s knows that there is almost always a bunch. I asked her too please look, low and behold, I had a box of Cracklins. If I just walked in and demanded cracklins without ordering any food, I can see the hesitation. She had just handed me my $25 order of food. I hate to complain but she needs re-educated on Customer Service skills. ### 3/5 — Frustrated *2026-08-14, version 3.2.1* Menu online does not allow you to purchase salmon or breadsticks. I always have to buy part of my food online and then order additional food after I get there. Another thing I really hate about it is the air-conditioning unit in the restaurant is usually broken down and customers we do not appreciate having to sweat while waiting for your food. Also, I feel bad that the employees are sweating like crazy to where they look like they are going to pass out. Also, they are sweating like crazy and wiping their forehead and then touching your bags of food and all the other items I think that’s really gross.
