## What is CaptionAgent?

Make your videos easy to follow, even with the sound off. Create automatic captions in your brand colors, read your script while recording and cut unwanted words from the transcript. For social clips, tutorials and product demos – right on your device.

RECORD WITHOUT LOSING YOUR PLACE
Write a script in the simple editor or import a text file. Read it while recording. The prompter follows your voice: word by word with on-device speech recognition, and in every other language at the pace of your voice.

GIVE CAPTIONS YOUR LOOK
Choose a caption style, adjust size and position, and highlight spoken words. Save color profiles for your brand or different clients, then apply them to your captions.

PUT YOURSELF IN THE SCENE
Remove a person's background automatically, or use green-screen and blue-screen keying. Combine your footage with scene templates, split-screen and picture-in-picture layouts.

EDIT WHERE THE WORDS ARE
Trim the beginning and end. Cut words or blocks directly from the transcript, find filler words and shorten pauses. Add optional close-up changes at cuts, improve your recorded audio, and export video or SRT and WebVTT subtitles.

WORK ON YOUR DEVICE
Speech recognition and video editing run locally. Supported speech languages require an Apple language pack first; availability depends on your language and device. Projects stay local, with backups and export destinations under your control.

TRY THE WORKFLOW. UNLOCK PRO EXPORTS.
Explore recording, editing, caption styles and scenes. Free individual exports are limited to 10 seconds, with video up to Full HD. Pro unlocks longer exports, 4K video and batch subtitle-file export. Pro requires an in-app purchase; available offers and prices appear in the app.

TWO PERSPECTIVES. ONE CONVERSATION.
Record interviews with the front and rear cameras at the same time on supported iPhones and iPads. CaptionAgent uses lip movement and audio to create automatic camera cuts. Adjust the camera switches in the editor and give each person a different caption color. Processing stays on your device.

Turn your next take into a clip that feels like yours.

On iPhone and iPad: record, style and export in one app.

INTERVIEW + USB AUDIO
Connect the USB receiver before opening interview recording. Set it to stereo or separate L/R output, rather than a mix or safety track. Default: guest = left, you = right. Use the double arrows to swap the assignment before recording. Each microphone is stored separately as mono. Audio follows the visible camera in the edit, including manual changes and export. Check speaker changes and overlapping speech. On Mac you edit imported videos; simultaneous interview capture is for supported iPhones and iPads.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.
