## What is Captr・Screenshot Organizer?

Captr — Screenshot Organizer

Not another gallery you have to dig through

Other screenshot apps sort things into a tidy gallery you still have to open, scroll, and remember to check. Captr understands why you took the screenshot in the first place — and turns it into something you actually do.

How does it work?

You screenshot a jacket on Instagram, a restaurant a friend recommended, and a recipe you want to try. The next morning, Captr shows them as today's list with the jacket ready to buy, the restaurant ready to navigate to, and the recipe saved for later. The things you meant to do stop dying in your camera roll.

Core features:

Zero manual work
・AI reads every screenshot the moment it's taken and understands what's in it: product, place, recipe, article, or event
・Extracts the details automatically and files it into the right list without tagging and folders to manage
・Nothing to organize yourself, ever

Your daily list
・Replaces a folder you have to remember to open with a list that comes to you
・Swipe through each morning to triage what's new — dismiss it, snooze it, or act on it
・Captr proposes how things should be grouped; you don't have to browse or file anything to make it useful

Smart Actions
・Add to your calendar or set a reminder, straight from the screenshot
・Jump back to the original post on Instagram or wherever you saved it from
・Buy the product or get directions to the place, when that's what the screenshot was for

Reminders that stick
・The screenshots that become a reminder or calendar event are the ones that actually get followed through on
・Once something has a date attached, Captr won't let it get buried again
・This is the difference between saving something and actually doing it

Screenshot cleanup
・Detects duplicate and near-duplicate screenshots automatically
・Review and clear clutter with a simple swipe
・Frees up storage on your phone once screenshots are safely synced to Captr

Outfit and style finder
・Recognizes clothing and style across your saved screenshots
・Find the exact look again without scrolling back through everything
・Keeps fashion inspiration and the things you meant to buy in one place

Shopping wishlist
・Turns scattered product and sale screenshots into one running wishlist
・Keeps shopping intentions from getting lost between apps
・Everything you meant to buy, in one list that updates itself

Private by design
・Everything you save stays in Captr — never sold, never shared
・Delete anything, anytime

Use cases:

・Planning a trip — flights, hotels, and places to see pulled into one Travel list instead of scattered screenshots.
・Cooking something new — recipes from Instagram, TikTok, and the web, sorted and ready when you're deciding what to make.
・Shopping for something specific — product and sale screenshots turned into a list you can act on before the deal is gone.
・Renovating or furnishing a space — furniture and inspiration screenshots grouped into one place instead of scattered across your camera roll.
・Tracking an outfit or style you liked — clothing screenshots organized so you can find and shop the look later.
・Remembering time-sensitive things — bookings, events, and deadlines buried in screenshots, surfaced as reminders before you miss them.

Frequently asked questions:

Does Captr work with screenshots from Instagram, TikTok, or other apps?
Yes. From anywhere, with a tap back to the original post anytime.

Is my data private with Captr?
Yes. Never sold, never shared, and deletable anytime.
Loved by people drowning in screenshots

Captr holds a 4.9 rating on the App Store. Users say it finally makes sense of a messy camera roll — remembering why a screenshot was taken, and helping them follow through on it.

### 5/5 — I like captr !!

*2026-09-03*

Just downloaded it. So far, so GOOOOOD! 😃👍

### 3/5 — I want to love this app. It has amazing features .. but

*2026-08-24*

However, the rename option doesn’t work. Adding selected photos to other list causes its to freeze and the library takes forever to open

**Developer response:** Thank you — all three were real, and all three are fixed.

Rename was broken in a few ways: if you'd scrolled down the list it did
nothing at all, and longer names quietly shortened themselves later. It now
works on smart lists too, which it never did before.

Adding selected photos was worse than slow — past 100 photos we were silently
dropping the rest. Fixed, and the freeze is gone.

The slow library was a server-side problem and is already fixed on our end.

The rest lands in the next update. Thanks for taking the time to write it up!

### 2/5 — Great Categorization Intent Falls Short

*2026-07-20*

Captr and its website show the right idea, but the workflow is weak, and contacting the developer is an impossible loop, except for writing a review in the App Store. A) Workflow: 1) AI suggests titles, but there’s no action to accept the title as a picture group. Instead, you can choose a reminder for a single screenshot, or go to the web based on the screenshot’s source. I want to create albums of like-kind screenshots, from which choosing the actions on the album would be more beneficial. 2) I only see single-screenshot AI processing when I need batch grouping, where I can select an existing album/grouping or create a new one. B) Support: 1) The link from the App Store opens a website with great info and use cases that aren't delivered in the App; 2) The support site doesn't have a way to contact the developer for any given reason and loops back to the App Store, where I can only write a review. Is that how you want to be contacted? In my opinion, choosing a support category and a textbox description would be more useful for us than looping back to the App Store to post a review like the one I’m writing here. 3) Blog on the website is only from the developer. While it’s informational, there’s no capability to interact, and again, instead of posting an inquiry, we’re looped back to writing a review here. SUMMARY: This could easily be a 5-Star App, but it feels very young. Maybe the developer would consider using TestFlight to have Beta testers. If Captr uses TestFlight, I’d love to be one of the testers. I’m happy to update this review and its rating as these concerns are addressed. To the Developer: Keep building, this app has the unique potential I've been looking for. Thanks.

**Developer response:** Thank you — this is a genuinely thoughtful review, and it's already useful.

Several of the things you're describing are exactly what we're focused on right now, and where you couldn't find them, that's a discoverability gap we're actively working to close. A couple of things you can already do today:

Batch grouping: long-press any screenshot in the Library to enter multi-select, pick as many as you like, then tap the three-dots menu — from there you can manage lists and drop them into an existing one or create a new list on the spot. The Lists tab also surfaces AI-suggested groupings you can accept with one tap. We know these aren't surfaced clearly enough yet, and improving how they're discovered is on us.

Contacting us: there's a support option in the app's Settings that opens an email straight to us (feedback@azaiq.com) — no App Store loop. You're completely right that the website doesn't surface this and circles back to the store. We're working on a new version of the site and will fix exactly this.

On the bigger point: we're actively working on making the Lists experience much richer. That direction is a big part of where we're taking the app next, and feedback like yours is shaping it.

### 4/5 — Exactly what I’d been wanting

*2026-06-21*

Well executed and nicely designed app for people who use screenshots as notes/reminders. I just wish you could store them and delete them from photos app so photos app stays clean.

### 5/5 — The best screen shot app!

*2026-04-14*

I have over 20,000 screenshots and I used to think I would never be able to use them. They’re full of recipes, places to visit, things to do,!things to do with my kids and I can say after trying other apps for years and my phone screen organizer folders this is literally the best screenshot organizer ever I already feel more organized and I’m able to actually useall of the things I have set reminders, just so helpful!

### 5/5 — Great tool!

*2026-03-30*

Really simple, gets the job done!

### 5/5 — Making my 1000s screenshots actionable

*2026-02-28*

I have tens of thousands of screenshots, for reminders, inspiration, references etc and Captr. Actually helps me reference them and even proactively reminds me of things! It awesome

**Developer response:** Thousands of screenshots turning into something useful again — that’s exactly what we hoped Captr would do.
Really glad it’s working that way for you!

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-01-03*

This is a phenomenal idea for people who love to take screenshots- and then are overwhelmed with the amount of screenshots they took and no way to organize. This app really helps me w my ADD and screenshot addiction.

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing this!
We’re really happy to hear Captr helps make screenshots easier to manage — especially when they start piling up.
Really appreciate your support!

### 5/5 — Finally making sense of my screenshots!

*2025-10-22*

I’ve been waiting years for someone to make something or organize my life this way. I take so many screenshots and they all end up lost or never getting done. This is a great way to keep on top of everything in one place, and it’s SO much better than going into my photo roll.

**Developer response:** GoLocationscout, we're so glad we could finally make sense of your screenshots for you! We completely understand how easy it is for them to get lost in the photo roll, and Captr was designed specifically to solve that problem. Thank you for recognizing how much better the dedicated organization is - we appreciate the feedback!

### 5/5 — Exceptional

*2025-10-19*

Such an easy way to organize my screen shots. I had tried to organize them with photo app but this does it so much better. Love that you can make folders, makes it so easy to find what I am looking for.

**Developer response:** RNchelseagirl, we appreciate the great feedback! It's wonderful to know that Captr's dedicated organization tools, especially the folder feature, are working so much better for you than general photo apps. Happy organizing!

• Better matches.

### 3.0.16 — 2026-08-31

Screenshot something you want to buy. Captr finds the price.

What's new:
• Shop — a saved product now shows what it costs, which shop sells it,
and similar items to compare. No retyping, no searching twice for the
  same thing.
• Tap any product picture to open it full screen, zoom in, and swipe
through every shot you saved of it.
• Your day opens on Today: what's due, what arrived, what needs you.
• Calendar suggestions come with real end times, repeats and an alert
  instead of a bare start.

### 3.0.15 — 2026-08-19

Your Library opens fast, no matter how many screenshots are in it.

What's new:
• Library stays quick even with thousands of screenshots
• Import up to 500 older screenshots at a time, and see what actually happened when you do
• Tap a reminder and you land on the exact screenshot it is about

Also: links behind your screenshots are checked harder, so fewer dead ends. Cards with nothing to show are gone from your feed and the Library count is finally accurate.

Captr looks sharper — and picks up where you left off.

What's new:
• A cleaner, more consistent interface — one look for filters, badges, and loading across Library, Lists, and Today
• Renaming, archiving, and deleting lists happen the moment you tap, not seconds later
• Select mode no longer darkens your thumbnails, so you can see what you're picking

### 3.0.13 — 2026-08-10

Your morning briefing now opens on the card it was talking about — not the top of the feed.

What's new:
• Tap a briefing notification and jump straight to that due item, or list.
• Cleaner select mode across Library and Lists — Add to list and Delete.
• Smarter actions on screenshots: no more "Set reminder" on keepsakes with nothing to remind you about.
• Boarding passes and barcodes scan more reliably, including PDF417 passes.

Also: Add to Calendar remembers what you already saved, identity docs stay out of Contacts, and timed reminders wait until you're not mid-setup.
