### 1/5 — My content → 3rd Parties

*2026-06-16*

1+1=2. (1) Can’t see even one screen of this app in progress, to discern how/if it functions, without first creating an account to log in. (2) Your privacy policy makes clear you not only pass on my login email addy to 3rd parties for “tracking across the web,” but also “user content” — ie the contents of my journal. And I’m s’pose to pay you more than $100 every year for the free for all??!! (3) Deleted.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. To clarify: journal content is never used to track users across other apps or websites — our App Store privacy labels were over-declared during initial setup and are being corrected in our next update. We take privacy seriously and your entries remain yours alone. Happy to help directly at theteam@capturejournals.com.

### 5/5 — What’s journal apps are missing

*2026-05-18*

This allows me to digitize my handwritten journal pages. I keep journals and notes everywhere and this lets me turn them into text and keep in separate journals and notebooks digitally. I can write in my journal and then add to capture for quick searching and recall. I wouldn’t use it for every journal entry but it’s a must for the entries I want to come back to.
