### 3/5 — Actually not bad, optimization needed.

The app isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be its just a different experience then most are used to. What is bad is that selected layers become unselected when you enter and exit the app requiring you to manually reselect without being able to copy over layer parameters. This needs a fix. Because it ruins the functionality.

It edits reasonably well once you get the hang of the very awkward interface. The one unforgivable is there simply no way to navigate to any individual album when opening a photo. You get the main photo feed and NOTHING ELSE. so you can end up scrolling through hundreds of photos to find the one you want. Baffling that an industry standard subscription app lacks basic functionality.

デスクトップ版も含め毎回何かしらの不具合はCapture oneのアルアルですが、このところ相変わらず改善されないのが、新規アルバムを作成してもアルバムの欄に反映されない事。これが地味にストレスです。
作成出来てないのかと思い、再度作成しようとすると『同名のコレクションが存在します...』と。
それでアプリを再起動してみると表示されるようになります。
こんな基本的なことが出来ないアプリです。

$5 was acceptable as a somewhat reliable companion to c1pro. $11 is just not going to work… I can’t believe this isn’t a giveaway with a c1pro license. I’ve been a loyal c1pro user since ver 3. Too bad. Tethering competitors are coming up and doing a much better job promoting in social media and I need to take good look at them since resolve is poised to eat c1pro for hybrid shooters. Honestly after all these years my conclusion is that c1pro is best in ecomm studios, forget this app. If they offered a $69 one time price, I’d consider that.

App crashes when opening images after I have installed styles carried over from my desktop. Would be great if this could be fixed. Very frustrating to upgrade my C1 plan and can’t use the mobile app on my iPad Pro.

I've never liked this idea that you get somone to pay for something to try, hoping that they forget to cancel, and you get money from them. It gets the company money, but it says a lot about their ethics, not that ethics seem to matter anymore.

Aside from the long-standing cropping bug that many users have already reviewed, after six months since the release of the A7V, we still don’t have the capability to wirelessly tether to the camera.

Dear devs, do you have a timeline for bringing fixes and updates to this app?

Basically useless in latest versions, and price tag for modern software is ridicules! Not to mention you’ll only find out which features DON’T WORK after you PAY!

After reading reviews was excited to try Capture One but extremely disappointed with experience. Ended up with two different Z7II tethered connections during a 1-day 4 location and different lighting environment shoot. Ended up having to import 352 images. Capture One AI did a very poor improvement to images. When I imported the images into Lightroom Classic the improvements were what I expected. Trying to cancel the trial continues to be difficult and I’m 5 days into the trial. No phone support for billing to talk with a real person. No AI chat support.  Just an insert your email to log into account to cancel window when I am already in the mobile app. If I try from web Capture One said it will send email to my mac.com email which hasn’t arrived despite 3 attempts in last hour. Will continue wasting time to cancel. This might all be my user error but my first Mac was a 512k and I started with original IPhone and IPad so maybe it is my issue and maybe not. Hopefully others will not have this experience.

Update, found the way to cancel trial in the App. Should have looked at the feedback link in the app dropdown. My bad. The rest of the review stands. Evoto is much better at AI improvements and pricing. I’ll stay with EvotoAI.

Seriously Capture One! Your users pay hundreds per year. The touch crop tool is broken and frustrating and has been since release. Please fix this.

Premium price for an app that is not optimized for an iPad. Batch editing takes forever and the for export you have to sacrifice lots of detail just to get a manageable sized file. If you want good detail the jpeg exports are 30 MP plus . I was trying to leave adobe but it’s hard when the alternative is this bad.

App gets stuck presenting an uninteractable upgrade modal in an infinite loop. 

When it came out it was far from polished but was a great start, now it’s unusable. Capture One is now more expensive and less reliable than Adobe – hopefully, they are at least richer.

Doesn’t work. App doesn’t read raw files, doesn’t tether and is completely useless. Doesn’t work at all. Paid and lost my money, no way to contact them. Impossible scam feeling app. Trash.

For a paid subscription app from Capture One, the mobile version is surprisingly limited and feels unfinished. The workflow is clunky, basic editing tools are still missing, and performance can become sluggish after working with several photos. At the same time, the subscription price keeps going up.

Capture One is excellent on desktop though , which makes the mobile app even more disappointing. Lightroom Mobile is simply much more complete and polished for the money.

I signed up for free trial but the mobile app wont allow me to login unless I subscribe through the in-app purchase. The restore purchase option is only for in-app iOS subscriptions. I subscribed through the web using a google sign-in but the mobile app doesn’t respond.

Ich bin von Adobe zu C1 Pro gewechselt da ich die Farbgebung, Schärfe und weil es auf meinem Laptop läuft :D ( flüssig ). Würde aber nicht mehr zurück wechseln auch wenn das Abo teurer ist wie bei Adobe.

This app must have come a long way since some of the other reviews here. 
Layering was available when I downloaded it and it is superior to light room mobiles in that you can adjust individual colours on each layer.
Usability is good despite what others are saying.  Maybe it has changed since then.
Most of all I am getting better JPEGS from my Sony files than I get with light room mobile.
I tried it with a monthly payment so I could cancel, but I think I’m going to keep it and replace light room mobile with this.

As a landscape enthusiast photographer, Capture One has proven to be a great travel companion. Photography serves me well as an extension of my contemplative approach to nature. Reviewing, adjusting, and light editing the shot of a day’s adventure on my iPad is a satisfying bonus at the end of the journey. My warmest compliments to Capture One developers.

Recently, I used the mobile app to shoot to an iPad in a location, allowing me to move around without sticks on the ground, just like light and flexible. 

It worked perfectly. 

If you need a quick review software, this is easy, light, and flexible to show clients what you’re doing. 

Being able to shoot to a card as well as the iPad was perfect. I knew I had a safety net in case anything went wrong. It was really straightforward, and the preview kept up with my 35mb files while I was shooting pretty  fast at times, which was great. 

I think having a little patience goes a long way because the product and how we used it were excellent. Will definitely be using it more on my street location shoots.

悪い評価が多かったので心配していましたが、私の環境では全く問題ないです。
カメラはα7RⅣで、USBケーブルはUGREENのVR対応5mのものです。アプリで初めて接続する際に、コードは4.3m以内と注意が表示されましたが、全く問題なく接続することができました。RAWでもJPEGでもとてもスムーズです。それとカメラの電源をOFFにしてもONにすればテザー撮影が継続されるのは、嬉しい誤算でした。

Am Anfang seiner Zeit auf iPad war Capture One sehr gemischt — alle Tools, die da waren, waren wirklich gut, aber es waren verdammt wenige. Inzwischen ist es aber wirklich, wirklich gut geworden. Die Ebenen funktionieren wunderbar. Die KI-Maskierung ist erstaunlich gut und spart extrem Zeit gegen vorher. Alle Controls funktionieren sauber. Was noch besser werden könnte: Himmel maskieren gibt es nicht und Selektion des Himmels wenn Bäume vorhanden sind ist immer noch traurig schlecht. Und immer noch schmerzlich vermisst sind Optionen wie Feather Mask und Refine Mask.

I only recently downloaded this, so I didn’t have to put up with a lot of the missing features like others did. But honestly, even with some features still missing (many more recently added like smart masking), I honestly think this is a great standalone option for people who only use an iPad. But when I get started editing on the go and get home, exporting my image with edits to my laptop with airdrop is so easy it’s almost unbelievable.

Is the app perfect. No. It’s still a little laggy sometimes (M1 iPad Air) though sometimes smooth as butter. And there are a couple features missing still (I’d love the color balance tool). But honestly this is such a small nitpick I don’t even care.

So worth the monthly cost. So much better than Lightroom. Thanks Capture One team!

Mittlerweile ist die App vom Funktionsumfang nah an der Desktop Version, wobei mir das mobile Bearbeiten deutlich mehr Spaß macht. Top, weiter so bitte!
