CapWest PO is the purchase order request app for CapWest and Onni field and office teams. Submit, track, and manage purchase order requests from your phone — no paperwork, no email chains. Choose your workspace when you open the app — CapWest or Onni — sign in with your company account, and you're ready to go. SUBMIT REQUESTS IN MINUTES • Pick your project, vendor, task, cost code, and GL/expense code from current lists • Capture trucking, fuel, materials, equipment rental, and labour details • Add multiple trucks or machine hours on a single request where it applies • Attach quotes and photos from your camera or files • Enter the total and a clear description of the work TRACK EVERY REQUEST • Follow each request through its stages, from submitted to PO issued • See only the projects you're assigned to • Know when your request is approved and a purchase order is issued FOR REVIEWERS • Review incoming requests, add internal or shared comments, and move requests through approval • Archive completed requests to keep your queue focused SECURE COMPANY SIGN-IN • Sign in with your organization's single sign-on • Your work stays tied to your company account CapWest PO is an internal tool for CapWest and Onni staff and their trade partners; a company account is required to use it. Contact the CapWest orders desk or your Onni administrator. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.25 — 2026-08-26 CapWest PO - Version 1.25 What's New - August 2026 ONE TRUCK, AS MANY STOPS AS THE JOB NEEDS A trucking request is no longer limited to a single pick-up and a single drop-off. Add as many of each as the run actually has — tap "Add another pick-up" or "Add another drop-off" and a new address appears. A courier run that collects from one yard and delivers to three sites is now one request instead of three. THE RIGHT CONTACT AT EVERY STOP Each pick-up and drop-off carries its own site contact and phone number, so the driver has the person who is actually waiting at that address rather than one name for the whole trip. SAY WHEN THE LOAD NEEDS TO LAND Every trucking request now asks whether it is a same-day delivery or whether the load can be staged overnight. Choose one before you send the request, and it shows on the request so the office and the driver are working to the same expectation. BACK-CHARGE NOTES NOW SHOW UP If you tick Back-Charge on a materials request and write the vendor and reason, that note now appears on the request where anyone reviewing it can see it. Previously it was only visible if Extra to Contract was ticked as well, so back-charge notes could go unread. Questions? Reach out to the CapWest PO team. ### 1.24.1 — 2026-08-05 What's New - August 2026 RECEIVE YOUR ORDERS IN THE APP Once a PO is issued, your request shows a received checklist. Check off materials, trucks, and workers item by item — or one check for fuel and equipment rentals — and tap Save Progress. The request shows as Partially Complete until everything is in. PROOF OF RECEIPT Attach back-up right from the request — the camera opens so you can photograph a packing slip, truck, or signed timesheet on the spot, or pick a photo or PDF instead. Fuel deliveries just need the check-off. When every item is checked and back-up is attached, tap Order Complete to close out the order. YOUR PO NUMBER, FRONT AND CENTER The CapWest Issued PO # is captured when the PO is issued, so it always arrives in your email — and it becomes the request's title in your lists. If the number is ever corrected, you get an email with the update. COST CODES AND YOUR PROJECT MANAGER New requests include a cost code on each line item — start typing a code or description and pick from the CapWest list — plus the Applicable Project Manager, who is copied on all emails for the request. Signed in with an Onni account? These fields don't apply to you and stay out of your way. ### 1.23.1 — 2026-07-22 CapWest PO - Version 1.23.1 What's New - July 2026 REVIEW BEFORE YOU SEND New Onni purchase order requests now show a review screen before they're sent. After filling in the form, tap "Review & Send" to see everything laid out in one place — vendor, project, task, cost and expense codes, total, description, notes, and attachments — then confirm with "Submit Request" or tap "Back to Edit" to make changes. It's an easy last check before a request goes to the Onni PO team. SAVE AND SHARE ATTACHMENTS Files attached to a request can now be saved or shared from the request's detail screen, including documents and spreadsheets, not just images. CLEARER TASK LABEL On the new request form, the auto-filled field beneath the task is now labeled "Task / Location" so it's clearer what it shows. Questions? Onni team members can now submit and track purchase order requests in the app — choose your project, vendor, task, and cost codes, attach quotes, and follow each request through review. Plus reliability improvements and refinements across the CapWest portal. ### 1.20.2 — 2026-06-16 CapWest PO - Version 1.20.2 What's New - June 2026 ONE-TIME FUEL REQUESTS Submitting a one-time fuel request now works as expected. Previously the app could ask for a schedule amount even on one-time requests and block submission with an error. One-time requests no longer require a schedule amount, so they go through right away.
