## What is Car Guru Ai?

Ever walked past a car and had no idea what it was?

Point your phone at it. In a couple of seconds you get the make, model and year. Then, if you want it, the whole story: the specs, what it cost new, and what one goes for today.

HOW IT WORKS

Tap the shutter, or pick a photo you already have. The name comes back fast, with a confidence figure that's honest about itself. A dark, distant or half-hidden car gets a lower number and an explanation, not a confident guess.

WHAT THE FULL REPORT ADDS

Generation and chassis code, engine, power, drivetrain, transmission, 0-60 and economy. Rough original price, what the used market looks like now, and roughly what one rents for per day, plus the practical things worth knowing before buying one: the weak points, the running costs, the options that matter.

It also tells you what gave it away, the grille shape, the wheel design, the taillight signature. And when a car genuinely could be one of two things, it says so and explains what would tell them apart.

Subscribing also lifts the daily scan limit, so you can identify as many cars as you like.

No daily limit on either plan. Use the whole month in one afternoon if you like. Subscribers who run out early can buy a one-off top-up of 20 or 40 extra reports, which never expire.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings. Unused monthly reports do not roll over.

Every car you identify is saved with its photo, so you can scroll back through everything you've spotted. Saved scans live only on your iPhone.

HOW YOUR PHOTO IS HANDLED

There is no account and no sign-in. When you scan a car, that one photo is sent to our service, which passes it to Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, to be read. The photo is not stored. The app asks your permission before it sends anything, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings.

Specifications and prices are typical figures for the model, produced by an AI model. Treat them as a well-informed opinion rather than an appraisal, and don't buy or insure anything on the strength of them.
