What's New in RouteLog

2.2

July 12, 2026

- Split a trip into two - or split on the go without stopping tracking (great for deliveries and multi-stop days). - Import your trip history from MileIQ (CSV). - Trips past your free monthly limit are now still recorded and unlock when you upgrade. - Corrected trip start/end times, clearer addresses, and values that match your currency and units (mi/km). - Faster classifying: open right on trips that need sorting, swipe to classify, with a badge on the app icon. Thanks for using RouteLog!

Has potential

Downgrade to one star for no updates in 3 months.

The suggested additions below would be easy additions to make but for now I’m forced to look elsewhere.

Good simple mileage tracker. A couple simple updates could make it great.

1) allow us to select specific to/from dates when creating reports so we don’t create reports with overlapping entries. Current date filter options for reports aren’t specific enough (e.g. I want a report of business drives only between Jan 27 and Jan 30).

Another way to accomplish this would be to track which drives have been added to prior reports and give the option to exclude them from future reports.

2) swiping! Swipe right for business, swipe left for personal. Would make classification even easier!

Response from developer

Hello Johnny — thank you for this, and you were right to push us. Good news: RouteLog is back in active development, and both of your requests are now live in the latest version: 1) Report date ranges. Reports now support a custom from/to date range — pick exact dates (e.g. Jan 27–30) so you never get overlapping entries. We also added an "Exclude Already Reported" toggle, so drives already included in a past report are automatically left out of future ones — exactly the second approach you suggested. 2) Swipe to classify. Swipe right for Business, left for Personal — classifying drives is now as fast as you asked. The app has been fully relaunched and we're committed to regular updates and support going forward — more improvements are already on the way. Please update to the latest version and give it another try; we'd genuinely love to earn those stars back. Thanks again for the detailed, constructive feedback — it directly shaped this release. — The RouteLog team

Inconsistent

The app is not performing to the degree that a paid app should. It is VERY inconsistent with locations. For example it has multiple address for my address when I leave to work that sometimes I have to google search most addresses to see where I was.

I think each update has made the app worse. I have emailed them about:
1. Making it so you can at least change the location/address in the app to more accurately document where you travel to
2. At least have the ability to make notes of the places that you visit
3. The final one was the app not capturing locations. I look through the app and some dates are missing for my work travel days. Sometimes the notification does not pop up until the next day or way later in the night or not at all.
I have restarted the app to according to their instructions but the same thing is happening.

Please fix the app or I would definitely like a refund back.

Hello! Thanks for your feedback. You can use the Contact Us form to send email on the Settings screen. Also on the Reports page, you can create a report and press share icon for sharing pdf file.

Love This App!

A great app for tracking your fuelings and servicing your vehicles. If you want to monitor your expenses on gas or your MPG this is the app for you. With the 2.0 update the graphs are and information displayed is even more in-depth. Great work from the App Cubby team at making this a tremendous app.

Suggestions
--------------------
- A CSV download option if I'd like to pull my data out of the app (either through the app itself or a web interface since the app is syncing data to your servers)
- Google Spreadsheet integration (in addition or as an alternative to the CSV download, the ability to send the data to a Google Spreadsheet file or to sync with it as a way to reduce the overhead of backing up data to the App Cubby system)
- Maintenance schedule (listing the items that are due next to be up for service)
