## What is Carbon Intensity Watch?

Plan your energy use, switching devices on when energy is green and off when it’s not. Forecasts are available for regions in Great Britain exclusively.

The electricity we consume is different at different times. There are times when we use power that produces more pollution and others when it is cleaner.

The carbon intensity of electricity is a measure of how much CO2  emissions are produced per kilowatt hour of electricity consumed. This app enables you to view carbon intensity and generation mix forecast 48h+ ahead with a regional breakdown.
