My 7 year old son and 11 year old daughter began this school year learning virtually at home due to COVID. They are required to log in with their teachers at times throughout the day, leaving 20-30 minutes of down time. After a few days of trying desperately to redirect them back to school after their “free time”, I discovered the Carbon Unwind kids stories. The blend of interesting stories, soothing nature sounds and skilled storytellers allows them to have the “brain breaks” they need and helps them to have a calm spirit overall. I love that I don’t have to sit in a dark room with my legs crossed at 6am to meditate. I can do it while driving, cooking my kids dinner, or while I am rocking a baby to sleep with my AirPods in. The themed stories are also so great for my toddler, helping him to adapt easily to new situations.
