## What is Carbonsaurus?

The growing climate crisis is affecting everyone globally but is not talked about enough. Thus, Carbonsaurus is a way for people to stay aware of climate change and understand their own carbon emissions on a day-to-day basis.

In Carbonsaurus, your virtual pet dinosaur will help you log your daily carbon emissions in a diary, browse the news and learn more about climate change through the use of quizzes and useful breakdowns. However, your dino really doesn't like it when you use a lot of carbon, and is very prone to mood swings! You must keep your dino happy through accumulating dino points, a currency which you can then use to customize your dinosaur, including accessories and backgrounds.

One of the categories is how much you ate that day, which completely ignores the difference in carbon emissions between plant and animal based foods.  Someone eating 2000 calories of mostly whole plant based foods will have a much lower carbon footprint than an omnivore

I love our planet earth so I am dedicated to use this app to save our planet!
I also love this app because Yash Shah is a cool developer and I have meet him many times. He is a kind person that wants to try and save our beautiful planet! Thank you Yash Shah and Aiden Seibel for making this app so we can save our planet!🦖🦖🦖

this app is the reason why i am now dedicated to saving this wonderful planet. I was extremely selfish in the way I was producing carbon emissions, but now I’m aware of my impact!

The designs are so cool! (fun fact- they’re all hand drawn) the fact that everything’s local and none of your information gets stolen and sold is also a pretty big plus!!

I am also addicted to taking the quizzes for more dino points.
