## What is CarbSense?

Your smart diabetes companion for everyday life:
This app makes calculating insulin and carbohydrate amounts easier and faster.

Functions for your daily life:
    • Carbs, carbohydrate unit (CHU 10 grams of carbs), and insulin unit calculation
    • Optionally, FPU (fat-protein units) can also be considered
    • Find groceries quickly:
        - Text search
        - Scan barcode
        - Search by photo (Beta)
        - AI suggestions (Beta)
    • Manual entry if not found in the database
    • Once used, groceries are also available offline
    • Save favorites
    • Create meals from multiple groceries
    • Record consumed and non-consumed carbs, as well as delivered insulin, to keep track of your balance
    • Save meals
    • Conversion from raw to cooked by entering both amounts
    • Calculate groceries from recipes:
        - Search for ingredients
        - Manual entry of ingredients
        - Recipe analysis from image or link (Beta)
    • Community-based food database:
        - Add new groceries
        - Update existing groceries
