Card Controls by Cabrillo Credit Union gives you full control over your debit and credit card.

• Manage how, when and where your cards can be used.  Set controls for transaction types, merchant types and locations.  
• Turn your card on or off in seconds, with a simple toggle. Perfect for those scary moments when you’re not quite sure where your card might be.
• Ensure you are the only person using your card. GPS capabilities can either limit where your card is used…or assure it’s only being used by you.
• Set dollar limits for transactions – and receive alerts when those limits are reached.  You’ll never have to worry about going over budget.
• Receive alerts when activity is suspicious and stop fraudulent activity before it ever happens.  Based on your preferences, Card Controls can send you a real-time alert when your card is used outside of your chosen preferences, giving you the power to deny the transaction or turn your card off. 
Alert preferences can be set by:
• Location – based on where the transaction occurs 
• Transaction type – based on type of transaction at the point of sale
• Merchant type – based on the type of merchant where the transaction is occurring
• Threshold – based on the threshold amount you set (i.e. – transactions over $500 receive an alert)

App says it need to update to a new version but App Store won’t give me an option to do that. I temp froze my card and now need to turn it on and I can’t. And of course Cabrillo has THE WORST hours of any bank in the country!

The card controls app is a nice concept if it actually worked.  The app constantly crashes and I have to first open my banking app before logging into this app.  Very frustrating.
