It’s the only app I use to make my FanBased cards for the YUGIOH stories that I write! This app is extremely versatile compared to the other card apps. When I heard that it wasn’t getting a new update with iOS 14, I was pretty upset because it was my FAVORITE app. When I saw that it was updated 2 days ago, I jumped out of my seat with joy!! Now I can continue to work on my cards again without it crashing or bugging out! Love this app, love you guys for taking the time and updating an amazing app! ### 5/5 — Best Yu-Gi-Oh! card creator app there is! *2020-10-18, version 7.2* This app is perfect. It has all the card types, it allows you to put your own card art and title, and you can adjust all the other details like level, type, effect, attack and defense, etc. I’ve tried all the other card creator apps on the store, and this is by far the best one. You can pay to remove the ads as well, which only heightens the greatness of the experience. I can’t recommend this app enough. First, it had no link monsters. Also, if you tapped on a card to look at it in detail, the app would occasionally freeze. But now, most of the problems have been fixed, and link monsters have been added. My only complaint is that each card does not zoom in on a picture enough. The only problem is that at times I want to replace the photo but I can’t unless I erase the whole card and start over. If you do plan on changing the photo; take a screenshot, erase card, and look at photo to rewrite everything you did. Other than that this is a really fun app with many options. One flaw *2020-05-08, version 6.1* It’s a fun and easy to use and organize free app. The real big issue is that every time you want to share with someone, it crashes the app after sharing it. This isn’t a huge deal breaker though since it will share the card in a message before crashing AND it takes less than a second to start the app back up. A few options that would get a win from me would be: -Ability to remove attack and defense for tokens -Ability to add edition (1st Edition, LIMITED EDITION, etc.) -Longer field for the serial number to be able to add special text ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Used to be so good until the latest version. *2021-05-18, version 7.3* I would’ve easily put this as five stars however this latest version ruined it. They doubled the amounts of adds you get, to the point I can barely make a card. They changed the UI to be unintuitive and removed the ability to freely move your cards to whatever location in the order you wanted. This isn’t anything compared to the fact you cannot and I mean CANNOT save a card you made without seeing an unskippable, uncloseable ad. So you HAVE to pay otherwise you cannot save a card. Because the moment you do. An ad pops up and it never goes away until you pay them money. I lost over a year’s of work because of this I hope you’re happy, guys. ### 3/5 — Forced to buy ad removal *2023-01-05, version 7.3* Only problem I had with app was ad pop up’s every time I saved a card. No big deal, just hit the X. Until a large ad popped up that blocked the X and didn’t have a way to close the ad itself! Unless I wanted to keep hitting the home button every time one of those popped up (who knows, ad might’ve stayed around) only option I could do was buy ad removal! ### 3/5 — I want it to look like a Yugioh card *2020-07-13, version 6.1* I love this game I would rate it five stars but I have two things I want that would make this app so much cooler. I would love it if you would make the picture look like a Yugioh card. I would also like it if you put in link monsters. Other than that this app is amazing anyone reading this should download it. Thank you for your time. ### 4/5 — One Tiny Problem... *2021-04-26, version 7.3* I really like this app, and I don’t know if this is just for me, but every time I finish making a card, an add shows up and there’s no (x) to press. So, then, I have to close the app and reopen it. And after a while, it gets really annoying to open and close the app constantly. Please, fix this... ### 4/5 — Useful *2020-10-25, version 7.2.1* I’ve been using it for half an hour now and it has just made my custom archetype come to life. I had this idea running for about a month with cards drafted and everything, I just couldn’t find a site that would let me create pendulums and links. This app solves that problem. My only issues so far are the several seconds it takes to save overall, ranging from nothing to completed cards or adding three letters to it and just the adds that are there. Otherwise very user friendly and I would at least say give it a try ### 4/5 — Wow, that was a quick fix! *2020-10-09, version 7.1.1* With the character limit issue fixed, I’ve only got two relatively small problems now: 1.) I can’t seem to get back to the list when I view a card I’ve already made unless I close the app entirely and reopen it, so a back button would be very nice, and 2.) I can’t seem to change the color of the text in the card names, which I swear I could do in previous versions (some cards just look better with the golden text, in my opinion). These are relatively minor issues in the grand scheme of things, so I feel comfortable giving this app a high rating anyway, but it’d be really nice if you can fix those small issues as well. ### 4/5 — Best one I can find *2020-07-26, version 6.1* I have looked into other card creating apps and websites, but this one remains the best I can find. That being said, it is missing Link, Fusion Pendulum, and Synchro Pendulum Card types. I love this app for how simple it is, how easily you can screenshot the cards and the quality of the resulting image and easy editing if you missed something. The makers may have moved to other projects, but I hope that they come back and add the missing parts. All the other apps or websites I have found and used simply cannot produce the quality of card this app can. ### 4/5 — Good Tool *2020-05-12, version 6.1* I downloaded this app to make meme Yugioh cards to use against my friends, the card maker is simplistic and easy to use! The only thing that’s keeping this from a five star from me is if you use a photo as the card picture you can’t put a classical Yugioh card background. Other than that it’s a good tool to make cards for fun. :) ### 4/5 — Non-biased review *2020-05-05, version 6.1* The app is great! Everything is customizable from the serial number all the way down to if it’s limited edition or not! This app is absolutely perfect except for one thing. It doesn’t have links! Links are the most played monster from the extra deck in the entirety of yu-gi-oh so not having them is a huge bummer. I would give this app a 5-star rating if I could make some link summons but the app is just slightly outdated and really it’s only useful if you don’t have a pc because overall duelingbook is better. There are a couple of problems I found, though. 1. Whenever I try to save cards to my phone or share them from the app, it freezes on me. 2. There are no Link templates. Granted, the app may have been last updated before the Link era started, and this review may be before they update it to have links (IF it is ever updated again, mind you). Easy to use and free at that! However, I was wondering if the developers were planning on adding custom cards for Rush Duels soon? I understand if that is not possible, but I would love for the app allowed us to create our own custom cards for Rush Duels. Hopefully sometime in the near future, perhaps. ### 5/5 — Add a Use deck feature *2022-07-06, version 7.3* It would be so cool if you could press a button on your decks and it pulled up a small game menu, like it would have just your side of the board, banish zone and graveyard, your hand, your decks, and life points. All the feature would do is let you draw, hold, and place your cards, any effects and Damage you take would need to be manually done. It would just be drag and drop, this would let you duel with friends irl with custom made decks. ### 5/5 — Exactly what I wanted *2022-06-20, version 7.3* Awesome app. Easy to use, quality interface and perfect end product. I don’t know how often developers look at reviews, but since I use this app (very) often, I’m just gonna list a few minor improvements that could be made: •Image rotation sometimes happens accidentally when sizing images. If there was a way to lock rotation, or realign the image it would save a lot of time. •Spell check sometimes puts a red underline in the finished card name, and you have to go back to editing to remove it. •Sometimes I start making a monster effect card, and halfway through decide it should be a ritual or fusion monster instead, but changing that requires you to go back to the beginning and start over. I understand a lot of card formats aren’t interchangeable though, so this is a nitpick in ny end. ### 5/5 — Good game. *2022-02-24, version 7.3* This game is so good! I like how you can make decks but in an upcoming update can we make custom booster packs? That would be awesome this is a 9.5/10 game! Keep up the good work! Card Creator app! *2021-08-03, version 7.3* There aren’t any problems with this app, and the best part is that it’s free! I will recommend this app to every single one of my friends! There is nothing to complain about, it even has a “Dark” mode. And with the update it recently had, it even kept all of my previous cards and decks! ### 5/5 — Excellent program! However....... *2021-06-30, version 7.3* This is a great program for making fan-made cards and even fan-made monsters! I’ve been using it a lot for custom decks, and it’s turning out well so far. My only problem is that there doesn’t seem to be an option to sync the data on the app with other devices. I was trying to sync the data from my custom cards from my iPhone to my iPad, but there didn’t seem to be a function for that at all. Could you please fix this problem in a different patch or maybe an update? There are some annoying parts (mainly putting in the picture for cards), but they don’t really get in the way of creating the card you want. ### 5/5 — Very good *2021-02-03, version 7.2.1* First off, let’s get right to the point and say that this app is amazing for making custom Yugioh Cards. Like cards you could hypothetically use in game. However, I find that 99 times out of 100, I use it for a different purpose. This app is great for documenting character profiles. Monsters, characters, heroes and villains, it’s perfect for it. You can even put related characters and places in a deck together for organization. The fact that this app can be used for something completely different that the intended use speaks volume to the quality of the application. ### 5/5 — I love this app *2021-02-01, version 7.2.1* This app is very intuitive for making cards. I don’t mind the ads they are super intrusive to the experience.
